Women's Liberation???
by Tushar on Sep 10, 2004 05:58 PM

Dont these so called women activists have better things to do? A wish for equality cannot be fulfilled by a call for superiority and niether by curbed expressions. These women activists should understand that what they fight against should be the true culprit and not anything which has absolutely anything to do with women!

Get real ladies...
by vinu on Sep 04, 2004 09:57 PM

Please read the daily newspaper, you can learn all new ways to commit violence against women. Are you folks going to censor the newspaper too? Please stop blaming all the society problems on films. Just like you ladies need freedom, films need freedom to express its opinion.

ramu's film ..protest
by abhijnan on Sep 04, 2004 05:06 PM

I fail to understand why we need to get influenced in our mind and psyche by a feature film? I watch this movie and i would feel like killing my wife? just like that? negative thoughts..negative messages..etc,ok i understand. But what about so many positive roles and movies being done? we DO get influened by those and make a better world? wish that was true too. why people [ the protestors] are so insecure about their own spouses, so suffered lot from paranoia of getting killed by their partners? my question to those protestors..' do you honestly think your spouse/hubby might murder you if he watches that movie? God help you..think again then! think is it then worth to live with sucha partner who might murder you just 'watching a feature film'?

its meaningless...........
by rahul on Sep 04, 2004 05:03 PM

nowadays Indian ladies are going nuts....they have to take it in a meaningfull way, what i mean is its just a movie and they have to take it in the entertainment spirit. what ever shown in movies is just fictious and not real. these are made for our entertainment sake only....

protest
by namita on Sep 04, 2004 04:48 PM

I do agree with the protest as the title is objectionable. I would also point out to Mr Syed that the translation of the title should be in correct english(instead of 'Would you feel good if your wife was dead?'it should be 'Would you feel good if your wife WERE dead?')

Midday Murder
by Aparajita on Sep 04, 2004 04:36 PM

I have not seen the posters nor the promos of the movie. In a way it does not concern me but what really does is the reaction of women organisations. I would like to ask them - before the movie was made were there no such cases, of men wanting to kill their wives? Let us not trivialise and reduce real issues to such publicity oriented slogans.
