Films are not just for educating and entertaining they are also for NOT DISTURBING the peace of the society by unwarranted statements like the one used on the posters
why don't women protest when the K- serials show women running away with somebody else's husband & cheating their husband's ??? where are they that time. & how about the serials showing numerous headaches created for the pati & sasur by the constant fights of the saas & bahu ??
grow up women !! don't just ask for rights but also learn to live upto it..
Please notice that whatever demonstrations you would do is only going to make the movie more popular, and sell more. What should be kept in mind is that Mr. Vermas objective behind this movies , there must be a message which he is trying to send , and maybe that maynot be against the women after all he also has a mother, wife and sister.
The protest of women's organisation is justified. It is surprising that the Censor Board has certified the film for public viewing. The Censor Board members owe an explanation for this;not only should the film be banned but the producer and director awarded punishment by way imprisonment.
Though I like Ram's movies, the ads and captions are not good and disturbing for this film. Ram should change them. I hope the movie is normal and the ads are just intended for promotion in a different way. At the same time, the Great Women Groups and all these organisations in AP should also protest and ban the dirty TV serials which depict women plotting murders, conspiracies etc. That would do a world of good.
Dear Readers I am Unable to understand why in India we take these kind of things seriously ? C'mon it is just the title of a movie and there are several Issues which needs serious gathering and protest . Why do we give importance to such things which can add controversy and it suddenly becomes topic of mass attention. Result -Movie catches audiences and finally makes lot of money. Now there is another filmmaker who has an untitled movie will in order to catch attention without much Advertisment will definitely give some title to his movie something of this kind only. Who is responsible for that ? one fine day we may come accross titles like " when you catch your wife with your neighbour" and other crap. Let us all be open minded and accept things as they are.
So, these women are only protesting the depiction of the crime in this film ? Seems that they are not really interested in stopping the crime itself. I haven't seen the film or its posters, but have read such incidents which appear similar to those mentioned in this article in the newspapers. So, are the newspapers being banned ? Fact is, this is a problem facing the society. It is a matter of debate whether the censor board should have permitted the film to carry this sub-title, but if people spend their time and energy after petty issues like these, it certainly is "penny wise, pound foolish". As far as giving ideas to people is concerned, every other movie shows some murders. What about them ? How innovative a plan is should seldom matter to the deceased!!!
