Hum Kaun Hai...
by Koushik Rudra on Sep 04, 2004 09:55 AM

The reviewer really seems to be in a typical chamanni front bench type of audience mood. This is not expected from a rediff reviewer. The movie Hum Kaun Hai is an experiment and really a different type of movie attempted for the first time in Indian cinema.

Dimple is extremely gorgeous and she gave a mind blowing performance - its not fair to compare her with Nicole Kidman but I am sure if somebody gives her a role in Hollywood she wud be no way less than any Nicloe Kidman in looks or performance. Well the poetic romance shud have been little more - I was looking forward to some more mature romance.

Come guys grow up - movie does not only need some item numbers or running behind the trees or some mushy mushy sentiments. Try to welcome soem thing different.

Fantastic film
by movielover on Sep 04, 2004 04:12 AM

A bold step from the director. A different type of horror film. This reviewer suddenly finds some flaws in the story. I want to see how this reviwer reviews reviews "The Others".
Actually rediff critics are bunch of Sharukh fans who declare a hit for SRK movies before even seeing it.

Ham Kaun Hai nahin baba Ham Kaun Hain.. Hain
by Vish on Sep 03, 2004 11:17 PM

"Films that ask a question in their title seem to be fated not to do well."

In this case probably because it was asking an incorrect question. Ham kaun hai? Which language these guys are making their movies in? No wonder people are not even interested to know ki yah 'ham' hai kaun. They know it already. Naturally Amitabh hi 'ham' hai, Dharmendra to ham (angrezi wala ham, pronounced haim) hai. The question they actually meant to ask was 'ham kaun hain' (note the last 'n'). Really, is that what Hindi films have come down to now?
