I have not seen the film and don;t intend to either after reading your comments. However was humoured and had a nice laugh at the question mark comment.

Keep up the comic effort.

THE movie was nt well scripted, directed and provided a shokingly poor presentation of the original. One can expect that Mr B will B give more thought before doing such movies.

by Farida Barodawala on Sep 08, 2004 07:01 PM

i would not mind watching HUM KAUN HAI mainly because THE OTHERS was so quiet that i could only understand a little bit abt the movie at the very end..(tut tut)
Also at the time the movie was telecast on national television at where I live...there was no teletext !
atleast i will be able to understand what D and the rest are talking in hindi in this movie.
also not all movies that have question type names go down....what abt HUM APKE HAI KAUN?

Real is Real

The movie is remake of "The Others" and bollywood have tried to copy all the scene but couldn't succeed. How come Dimple can replace Nicole Kidman.... "The Others" is a class movie. Why these dumb directors don't apply their mind while making movies and they simply want to eat bread without any effort.

What a shameless rip-off!!!
by sa on Sep 05, 2004 11:35 AM

Actually I haven't seen this movie but just saw the trailer. And from that I could tell this movie is such a shameless RIP-OFF from "The Others" (which happens to be one my favourite movies. I guess that's why I'm even more pissed.)

BTW, the reviewer should note that The Others is not a Hollywood movie. Not every English movie is. It's a European effort, led by Alejandro Amenábar.

What a terrible rip-off of an excellent movie.
They owe an apology(perhaps copyrights also)to Alejandro Amenabar.
