I am really getting sick of this person named Anu. Why don't the rediff people wake up and just stop publishing the demented ass's stupid inflammatory messages? She/he keeps dragging in Shahrukh Khan into any godamn topic. Anu, it seems like a good stretch in one of the mental hospitals in Agra would suit you fine and may even cure you. Go figure!
People like anu and sriram can contribute nothing other than negativity and cynicism. Here is an article about one artist paying tribute to another artist and all you guys can do is question the writer's credentials and making personal attacks. Who are you guys ? What are you qualifications to critique anything or anybody ? If you dont have anything good to say about something please shut up and move on. Dont spread your scornful personalities or bitter attitudes towards life by denigrating somebody else least of all a artist like kamal hasan. From your criticism it feels like you rather not have a movie industry than have someone like kamal hasan practise his craft to the best of his ability?
If Shahrukh or some other actor had proclaimed so, i would've been fuming..But Kamal is in a different league altogether and he does hv the talent to proclaim so..No questions about it! Look at the characters he's brought to life - AnbeSivam - DevarMagan-Nayakan...Simply amazing..
Should it not be the movie critics & movie students to decide the son of brando ? People today take advantage of a wave and go with it..why was Kamal never talking about Brando until 2 weeks ago ? If he is like the son of Brando, I am the Czar of Russia !!!
i know Kamal since 1975,he is only 8th grade,can any body tell any of our Actor ,Director having This much of reading and knowledge about world cinema,i dont say KKHT,DWDL is bad but KKKH is BAD when compared to many kamal movies like SADMA,SAGAAR..if the director is poor KAMAL over acts,he started his career when he was a school boy,he have his complex of his illiteracy.thats why he is putting this kind of statements and want to be a part of world hero actors .Bharathan directed Devar magan,(VIRASAT)was excellent. You can see Kamals overacting in many films(Guna,abhay,Virumandi..thats his curse..Tamil/Telugu views like that.He is moving with the current thats why he exists.. dude i think u have a serious problem.whu cant u look at the script.in virumandi kamal plays a ruffian or a 'sandiyar' from theni district.how many of u here can understand the slang spoken in the movie??it is great.the rustic touch that he renders is amazing.when kamal says that he is the son of brando he means that he is a next generation actor who believes in the same policies as brando.he is someone who worships brando.kamal even calls himself the son of coppola.this is not pride but a tribute to those guys.
