Mr.Kamal Having watched ur filims and ur interviews i have hardly found a difference, infact i find that whenever i watch ur movie, i hardly remember the character that u played, but i've seen only u and that too in ur forceful and full of mannersim that u posses. So i personaly feel that ur statement on underplaying is a big laugh. No doubt that u possess a vast talent in many fields, which most of us Indians galdly acknowledge

hey guys, chill out! i know that Marlon brando is the God of acting , and he s dead. but tht does not mean tht all lesser mortals like kamal hassan r non acheivers. Mr. kamal has infact said tht Marlon brando is way ahead of everyone. so why r ull pouncing on him???? thts d problem wid us indians . we hav a opinion abt everybody, and r born to criticize whether it be sachin tendulkar or amitabh bachan, kamal hassan etc.
I wonder if u r a blonde Anu? because then there wouldnt be any doubt that u are probably the dumbest of all the people in India to call Kamal Hassan a useless actor.what do u know of acting anyway? ur so called hero's r probablly guys who have had no idea of being an actor.I really feel sorry for you.

Oh. Is it? Sometimes, you have to watch movies, forgetting the previous ones. i recently saw Anbe Sivam. pretty Much subtle. Or may be, the films of this genre was not made for folks like you.
Heights is to see someone mentioning shahrukh as brando's son!!!!I don't prefer thrashing someone for no reason,but I would rather prefer calling shahrukh as one of the all time greatest cartoon on the screen rather a matured actor....I am indeed not surprised to see messages from a couple of readers thrashing kamal for he terming himself son of Brando.
Whether one likes it or lumps it kamalhassan is a force to reckon with and a phenomenon who cannot be ignored.He is one individual who would always be loved by some people matching his frequency and hated by many who are way below his level,but at any point in time he can never be ignored!!!!
As Indians we cannot relate to the Brandos and Redfords of hollywood. Someone who has made an effort to bridge the gap has been Kamal Hassan
It feels sad where people call Kamal a clone without understanding the history of Indian cinema. No actor worth his name in recent times has played as many versatile roles as Kamal at the cost of risking his career. It is a great thing to see Kamal do the multitude of roles he potrays.Movies for the past 20 years have seen Kamal grow older and better every year. Its a pity some people do not understand his contribution of this great actor
It was a great tribute, well-written. Kamal is at least well-informed and has watched and closely followed so much of Hollywood and world cinema. This is education. Forget the fact that he didn't go beyond middle school. How many Indian actors can write on such topics?
And of course, true to typical Bollywood journalism style, you have given a stupid title that has given rise to so much of negative reactions from readers.
What he meant by 'son', Kamal explains right away. He is talking about being part of the 2nd generation of actors.

Good Analysis of Kamal's Article, Kamal is great actor nodoubt some of the filmes are master piece , sometimes heis very Loud and over acts, but no one can deny the magnitude and scale of his actiing is as good as any one else like Dilip kumar,amithabh.....Brando too.... But after reading the Article we can easily convinced this actor not only acts Good but he is more aware of others Creativity ........ Let's hope we will more colors of his acting instead of prtratying women as the skin showing element...... IAm very much conveniced with the neel's reaction Great write-up by Kamal. I totally agree with the commet of Mr.Kamal Hasan.Miss Anu P.L (i think iam right about her marital status if not iam sorry) with no respect for the best, may be the greatest actor ever in the Indian film industry after Mr Shivaji Ganeshan has given a commet like that is very bad.I think he has the right to claim himself as the son of the Don, because of the way he acted in the film Nayakan,the force and the authoritativeness he exhibited in the film was enormous.I think the people who say that Mr Kamal is wrong would be those people who personally do not like Kamal I think that could be the only reason.I cannot think anything else and I would be happy to know the reasons from those who have commeted that Kamal is wrong.Thank You all Bye take care
I thorough some of the comments, i saw some "STUPPID QUOTES" also. I don't know, how people comparing "The Great Kamal Hassan to Sharukh Khan. Ofcourse, in north & outside world Mr. Khan is famous. I don't know, these people really know, what is the meaning of "ACTOR". He is really a talented actor. Please, guys look the way of acting, not "LADKI KAI PEECHAI GHUMNA", please guys!!! come on....

Kamal always do such cheap propaganda, i agree he is a good actor (except he does not know how to cry in the movies :P). Mr. Kamal be mature, a lighthouse does not need propaganda so as you. As of anu's comment its a cheap fan fight, stop such things.
