manoj deserves it much more dan hritik.actually he deserved a national award for 'shool' as well!there r so many actors who hv done the role of a mentally challenged better dan him. also pankaj was brilliant
Wont be right on my part to say that the award should have been given to Hrithik and not the actor who got the best actor award because i have not seen his film. But i can surely say that Hrithik desereved an award for his perf. in Koi mil Gaya... any special awards for tht matter. He gave an excellent performance.......he was absolutely brilliant in the film......HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONSIDERED...
Regarding the comment of the "major filmmaker" and the rest of Bollywood, it seems a little unfair that such comments are being passed without even seeing the performance of Vikram in the movie "Pithamagan". People should at least watch the movie before expressing their opinions thus.
its good to hear that Vikram ha swon the best actor award for Pithamaghan, I have seen Both Koi Mil Gaya and Pithamagan. It is justified properly to Vikram for an great award rather than Hrithik, since Both the movies were hits but as far as acting is concerned Vikram has gained Good marks than Hrithik.
I am really surprise by the comment given by the people that hrthik should deserve that award...before commenting such statements these people have to watch the performance of Kamal Hassan who had acted brilliantly in Virumandi...as well as movie was also excellent...instead of Hrthik Kamal Hassan should have got best jury award....And Vikram deserves this award for pitamagan.... To my knowledge I was really surprise why jury has not given award for Virumandi as a best film...
it is funny for somebody to make comments on Vikram`s selection without even viewing the tamil film; with due respect to Hrithik`s excellent performance in KMG (I have seen both the films), I should say that Vikram`s performance in Pithamahan is a cut above the rest. The very fact that the name of the film maker is not revealed in the report suggests some mischief by vested interests.
I have seen both Pithamagan and KMG, Vikrams acting is incomparable, he doenst have a single dialogue in the film, he just sings a folk song in one scene and thats all, still he expresses every feeling an actor could with every single body language and facial expression, please see both in action and compare, even Kamal's Virumandi had a lot of logical snags, but this film is so perfect, even the best Director award should have gone to this film.
