ash can be considered a born model but never a born actress; the director's effort shows up a lot in her acting ;anyways shes learning & has improved a lot compared to her debut film (that u shud give to salman, so many years in the industry and still no scope of learning-his crying scene in HDDCS makes one laugh );

and about her having a dress code and not doing any kind of smooching scenes,she can afford to do that coz she's been tagged as the most beautiful indian on earth(ie to say Ash is Ash) while other young wannabes hav to do as the director demands.

as un emotive as she is on screen she's a lot more bearable than kareena( with her weird facial expressions that she repeats in evry film) or esha and other crop of star daughters;atleast she's a doll to look at.

The timing of this "review" is as suspect as Ash's acting skills. Her acting skills are just averageinspite of a very good debut with Maniratnam's Iruvar, which probably most of the readers arent aware of. However, why suddenly such analysis immediately following the actress's outburst against Salman? It is intriguing to see how most of the print media and film industry have come around to protect the tantrum throwing, rash driving. buck hunting, woman beating star. Some kind of archaic panchayat system seems to be in force in filmdom and the media covering it and anyone in violation of that is subject to such crucification.
