I wanted to see a Hindi movie for I haven't seen any for a long time. Somebody got it and we watched it at home. Let me tell you what I liked about the movie. I liked its richness. The picture quality. It's clear and has pleasing colours. ANd that's it.
Let me tell you what I did NOT like about the movie. Story, direction, all performances, music. What I hated most about the movie was story, so unrealistic. I may be prejudice about hindi movie, but I don't like any of the new movies. I like to watch Hollywood movies. I would recommend you to watch a few english movies. You will really understand that new hindi movies are not even 1% as good as English and a few european language movies. Don't limit yourself to hindi movies. Thers is a big world outside it and it is more beautiful. You can count on that.
i agree with mr.kamath totally. watched it in video n am happy we didn't go2 theatre2 do it. the script has too many flaws prominent among them fact tht scriptwriter/director has a clue abt actual spy work n the real life of a spy. never u will meet such a glamourous n popular 'spy'(spy receives gallantry award gives public speeches n discusses the 'sacrifices' spies have to make on personal life in a crowded plane) - the character of sunny mimicks the very concept of an undercover agent. in one scene the director of intelligence discusses with sunny his next undercoveroperation in the office corridor openly - even a chaiwala can hear the plot! if this is the way indian intelligence functions whole world must be knowing wht our guys r upto! n we wonder why everyone from pakistani intelligence militia to heroine's pakistani saviour fly to canada in the second half!!? preity who was captured by the bad guys earlier,goes to the house they all live in canada in the second half n dances merrily in a function n none identify her!n y pak is shown2 be struggling2 make nukes when we all know they've it already? sheer waste of money this movie is. pity the producer!
