As the news write up shows, the milk procurement rate by the marketing cooperatives and companies is getting cheaper, but we consumers are not getting any respite. So what the government is doing ?? This government is neither concerned about farmers or the people. Government is not worth of governing.
This is in principle bad to waste milk like this, at least in India ,where per capita milk consumption is still low and large segment of population is under nourished/ anemic. I think , there is some politics behind it. In stead of wasting it like this, they should give it poor free of cost.
The controversy if really not roolted in farmers. The politician in lead Raju Shetty is the driver behind spending his money power, gather a storm. This is to shoew the political bosses, his strength among farmer to be considered in political negotiations before the elections.
