Citizens already paying more price
by vivek bansal on Jul 17, 2018 03:24 PM

We are already paying more for milk, farmers should not be instigated by divide
& rule political parties and middlemen should be
kept out so common men get this essential item at
reasonable price.

As elections are nearing, spineless opposition parties are confusing, instigating every one to
go on strike, stage dharnas, disrupt public services
to defame the ruling NDA and trouble common men.

Milk Thrown on street
by S Radhakrishnan on Jul 17, 2018 02:39 PM  | Hide replies

This is totally criminal. There are lakhs of children who go hungry. You can give them milk if you do not wish to sell it to Mumbai. Throwing milk should be a criminal offence since children are deprived of it, the animals are made to produce milk which is actually for the calf, the good resources have been used from public to produce the milk. How can you just throw and waste. There should be a law against such acts. There are other ways to protest. Feed the poor and not supply the rich. This can be implemented as a useful protest.

Farmers getting lower prices for milk
by Pramod Sharma on Jul 17, 2018 01:09 PM  | Hide replies

Only a farmer can answer the question about how much he is getting paid for the milk he produces but over the years, i have been paying more and more and i have been buying milk directly from farmers. So why the agitation? Throwing milk on the roads is a crime against humanity and the cattle from whose calves we steal the milk meant for them. If they want to protest why don't they give it free to the poor and hungry who throng cities like Mumbai. The agitation is pure mischief and politically motivated. Why Maharashtra? Because there is an ambitious man who has a firm hold on farmers and is inciting them to unsettle the Govt, hoping to become the next PM! What a sad state of affairs. They want power so that they can carry on looting the nation. No concern for anyone but themselves.

Milk producers angry.
by ASHKO KUMAR on Jul 17, 2018 01:03 PM

It is stated that in northern states cow milk is sold for 19/21 rupees a litre. In Tamil Nadu we get milk @ Rs 34/- a litre from Aavin-a state owned entity, quality of which is fairly good and company been well managed. Why dont all state governments start such units and eliminate all middlemen if any so that the milk producers get a fair price and consumer a standard product..Wherever over production prevails, children of govt. run schools can be given free milk to avoid milk been drained out.
