As soon as I entered the bank a person approached me and asked" do you want to exchanged you notes?" I said "Yes". "Please fill this form and get it verified at counter 2. He said and gave me one form. I filled it and submitted to counter 2 along with PAN card and my pass Book. After verification I went to cash counter there was around 20 people ahead of me. After around 40 minutes my turn came and I got Rs. 4000 exchanged by all Rs.100 notes. Whole process got over within 50 minutes.

@ Mr Karim : All the BJP and RSS wallahs are wrong. Only you and Mr Firdaus and like-minded people are right. How much monies are going to be rendered useless ... esp for parties like Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party,Lalu Prasad Yadav etc? Modi is practising petty politics, is it not? If you have any doubt, do please ask Rahul Gandhi.
all journalist have common agenda to criticize any action / decision taken by sincere authority to bring about changes for improvements. I have hardly come across any critics giving full marks on such decisions where the results are far reaching and not short term.

Every political party has its own calculations, yes next election will decide the popularity of Modi/BJP. Of course we all are against corrupt money, which is mainly with politicians and govt. servants. Black money is money with people on which taxes are not paid due to faulty govt. policies and execution. No doubt next elections will turn the table either or for Modi and his party.
Modi - Will be the PM India - UNTIL HE IS ALIVE. All people who LOOT MONEY ... you will be in IT later. This is Historic Event in Indian History. Let INDIA grow strong...!!! JAI HIND!!!!!
Hay man!! Come and talk to me. This is a wonderful step taken by Modi and his Government. It may give pain for a couple of days but in ling run it will help us a lot. You are totally biased along with REDIFF.
