No problem at Kolkata
by Chandan Naha on Nov 10, 2016 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

FYI Mr. Fartdus in Kolkata it took exactly 10 minutes to exchange my currency. When we are attempting to cut off 3 lakh crore worth of black and terror money, we all have to face some hardship. This is a tiny price to pay.

Agreed. These silly people don't understand what is really important to our Nation. Can't make a little sacrifice. Modi cares nothing about his election next time.

I stay in Kolkata too, police was deployed outside the State Bank in my area and there were two long queues. I went to the bank and returned seeing the queue. It would have taken me an entire day to get inside.

An elephant never minds barking dogs!!

@Syed - As your name suggest, I can understand that you support Congress/ AAP. You know that this is a major decision but you have habit of writing everything against Modi.

This article is about your personal experience in exchanging notes. But your subject line does not suggest that. That shows your frustration, how modi did it and congress dint.

As far as Next election is concerned, Modi will not suffer from YOUR votes. We are enough for his victory.

Urge Rediff.com to ban this guy!!

You're no doubt all that is good about India and Modi is all that is bad about India. I'm sure you still more frustration. Puke it out please? As a honest tax payer and also as a inconvenienced citizen due to the demonetization, I'm happy that the "bad boy" is taking unpopular decisions.

Very easy to critise my dear. Just see how common man suffering by all these hall bulla. Can Govt assured that Black Money will not be accumulated in future. In that case Please ask BJP to accept all donation in Cheque. In India all donations made to any party is not liable to Audit. This is double standard of Govt of all time. All hardship they leave for common man bcz they are born to bear.
