What is to be done with common man, however he pay direct and indirect taxes today also...so need to understand implication of GST , it is very useful for business community and the same advantage will be passed to end user.Hence do not make any negative comment till you get the whole understanding of GST

Hope GST helps the common man

Well, though the exact GST structure will be known only after the State Government passes and implements with their interpretation, on an average the Govt. should totally except medicines because medicines are an important requirement for lifeline of a person and it should be really cheap for common and poor people to afford.

Food and medicine will cost more?!
by Saravanan Ayyasamy on Aug 04, 2016 12:03 PM

Why food and medicine should cost more and car should cost less?
I do not understand this.

IF GST simplifies tax compliance process for the responsible citizens and entrepreneurs, it is a welcome relief.

SIMPLE LOGIC
by guptaapsn on Aug 04, 2016 11:47 AM

THOSE WHO PAY TAX WILL BE BENEFITED.
THOSE WHO DON'T PAY TAX, CANNOT SURVIVE IN THIS MARKET. HENCE, ALL WILL COMES UNDER ONE ROOF.
IT WILL TAKE 1-2 YEARS TO GET BENEFITED.
STATE GOVERNMENTS SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE AND MORE ACTIVE TO SOLVE THE SIMPLE ISSUES ACROSS THE TABLE. IF THEY BECOME ADAMANT LIKE TAMILNADU, IMPLEMENTATION OF GST IS WASTE.

A feather in the cap
by Vijay Sahani on Aug 04, 2016 10:54 AM  | Hide replies

Getting the GST Constitutional amendment Bill passed is a feather in the cap of BJP. This was a long overdue reform which was absolutely necessary for the Indian economy. Well done.

The moral of the story is that when it comes to reforming sectors which do not directly impinge on the power of politicians there can be delay but delivery is usually there.

This is a lesson for some BJP bigwigs that not everything has to be opposed always.
