Our PM Modi
by daniel thorat on Sep 25, 2015 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

India has made him PM, but he travels abroad all the time. I do not think any other democratically elected PM in the whole world has ever undertaken so many foreign visits in such a short time. I do not think it is possible to convert the entire world to Yoga or Ayurveda or Ramdev Baba or beef ban or Gita or persuade the world to see India as a Hindu Rashtra, so soon. Are these the only needs and priorities of India? I sincerely believe that if the PM stays in India for the rest of his PM tenure and arrests and weeds out the anti-minorities ambitions of some BJP states and leaders, there will be truly great peace, joy and prosperity. The traveling salesman phase needs to end.

For us the biggest dissapointment is why rediff is keeping its eyes close on all the scams that the previous govt. did.
why does not it report even 1 scam by the kangis

Nothing has happened in the last 13 months..
by mriganka bharali on Sep 25, 2015 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

5 years down the line, we Indians will come to know what we have finally got versus what we were promised by Modi and company.Already people are getting worried. Just see how the prices of essential commodities have increased in the last 14 months even after global crude price coming down What does it indicate ? How will the poor buy dal in India? Arhar dal used to cost 65 rupees a year back, now it is 130 ? Same with others, Has govt. done anything to reduce farmers plight??

Common man is suffering due to skyrocketing prices of onion costing Rs. 60/ kg, toor dal costing more than Rs 130/ kg and those who promised us good governance and "ACCHHE DIN" have no time to look after miseries of common man or for families of farmers who committed suicides or for the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives on border.
