What a Mess the Congress has left India into...
by vinod ramani on May 22, 2015 07:32 PM

Is this the same Congress party who had fought for India's Independence??? Mahatma Gandhi had rightly wanted the Congress Party to be disbanded because he knew very well that in future the Congress party will be just the opposite of what they were then. Now the Congress does not want the present Govt. to work for the Country because they know very well with an honest Govt. in Centre currently once the economy starts moving Congress would never again be able to rule India. That's the reason they are spreading all types of lies to the farmers and the general people as such , Just until last year they were involved in scam after scam and today they are talking from a high moral ground. It cannot be worse than this and the Congress just doesn't care about this Country. And with a Congress Clown wanting to be the future PM , India is in for trouble.

It is a case of what should be done ( at extreme) and what can be done under the circumstances. He has done everything under the circumstances. Carry on Sir. You deserve applause.

Middle class is loosing patience
by ns on May 22, 2015 04:43 PM

The political class needs to gauge public sentiment, we need the means to earn and basic necessities- imports are not taxed while for manufacturing one needs to pay excise duty service tax sales tax income tax on corporate profits - almost 50 % of a products sales price goes in direct indirect taxes whereas imports are free from direct taxes....UPA gave easy credit, and interest rates were low...why did RBI not restrain them...and why the financial squeeze NOW on middle class with high interest rates ? and no funds for banks ? Wake up - finance ministry.

Ease credit and reduce interest rates
by ns on May 22, 2015 04:30 PM  | Hide replies

Ease credit availability urgently and reduce interest rates....my 10 year old home loan is being charged 15.5 % interest by ICICI bank, as PLR is high for all banks, only new loans are given at low rates - no other bank wants to refinance...as there is credit squeeze. A UPA mess of over a decade cant be rectified by RBI / MODI. But at least he can ease funds availability for middle class.

Modiji's one year
by Ramanath Babu on May 22, 2015 01:49 PM  | Hide replies

"They are all disappointed" What else you require Mr. Venu. Being a Malayalee, you must be very much happy about it. CPIM, along with Janta family and some others put every hurdle to ensure that the country doesn't progress. If this govt does something towards industrial progress all will be up in arms against such move. Either in the name of farmers, or in the name of environment, you want to scuttle all effots by the govt.
But only one year has passed. Modiji knows what to do and when to do. Your wish of this govt getting failed will remain a wish only.
