The other day i heard him talking about upanishads-- some nonsesne. But any body can talk about hindu books. so he is spared. He dosent know the difference between ?Brahman (the word in aham brahmaasmi) and BraahmanN (the name of a varna), he thought both are same, obvious because he ia learning through English which has a handicapped language and too poor a ovcabulary). And he was making judgemants about upanishads, Varna sysytem..to students of influencible age. I put him in my dustbin of undeserving celebrities.

for a moment, lets accept Modi's gujarat model is not good or acceptable. thats Fine. But what is Amartya Sen's Model for Indias development?? A pseudo economic expert who doesn't even want to live in india, enjoying a superficial life in a western land, can give a visionary model for his mother land India ? Why can't he demonstrate a small visible change in his own state West Bengal which is far behind other states in many aspects, even though it was a headquarter for Britishers who made good development in their ruling period.?? He is just pretending like any other secular politicians who just makes dirty critics on others rather than demonstrating a specific and measurable economic growth model. We are not proud of you Mr. Amartya Sen. Be happy in the western land itself, instead of criticizing any other indian.

Mostly this guy is expecting a favour from UPA Government interms of some Advisory Post to the Indian Government to have a Royal treatment from India During His occassional visits. He should not forget that he was recognised and awareded the highest Indian Civilian Award Bharat Ratna by the NDA Government even though he was a pro-christian man and his contribution to india is Big Zero. No Doubt why Dr. Subramaniam Swamy urged the Government of India to withdraw this award for his anti-India speeches.

Dr. Sen and other Keynesian losers live in a utopia where government spending of tax payer money does magical things like creating gainful employment for the masses out of thin air!
They believe that government is the panacea to all the ills of modern society!
Unfortunately, this deeply held belief only works when tax revenue keeps flowing freely.
In bad times, this nonsensical theory goes belly up with the rest of the economy!
This has already been proven in Europe and in Detroit (of all places)!
But, people like Dr. Sen will never give up on these lunatic theories because without them they are as useless as these theories they believe in!
