Dear Sen sir, you seem to forgot the main law of economics, that quality of life improves if you have income. So a state which doesn not create its own money can live off central funds for a while, but sooner or later will die and may kill the centre too. Gujrat is taking lead in growing employment and making beaurocracy functions..... those are the things India need at the moment... not a socialist movement. By the way, Do you know that your daugter should not have entered in films as well, she is pretty face but good for nothing.

Even now Kerala has the maximum suicides. 10% of India's suicide comes form 3.1% of Indian population. Though the rate coming down, it is still more than double of national average. In case if people from middle east also started coming back this might increase. Most of the suicides there is because of family problem. Will Dr.Sen explain that?

I am keralte, all this acheivement is because of foreign remiitance. Still Kerala is capital cronic diesease. their road and othe infrastructer very poor. All this developement is main mercy of Nature . People are litreate in day and drunkar during night.However I love kerala it is beatiful state

We can only Pity people who go by the Bogus Statements of the so-called Economist Amartya Sen!An Economist talking Politics shows that he is an Agent.
I am happy if Dr. Sen will give some tips to our PM who is also an economist how to tackle the present situation regarding the Indian economy. Its strange that person of such high dignity indulge into dirty party politics. What Dr. Sen has commented yesterday shows that he is addressing some Congress rally. Anyone who is not leaving here cannot decide that who the Indian people should select as their future PM. It shows the deep depration of the ruling regime at New Delhi. They are inviting immenent personalities from all over the world to counter Mr. Namoh. I have commented before also the more you try to stop this fellow the more strong he will become. So stop talking about him and try to solve the problems created by you for the people of India.
People of Gujurat and BJP should talk of facts that states like Kerala, Tamilnadu, MAHARASTRA are far more devloped in all aspects than gujurat,Modi and BJP should refrain from gujurat type model by far 50% hyped sure people in south and east will never vote for Modi or BJP which has 200 seats,

TN: developed? Water problems, electricity issues, garbage on roads in Chennai, any state that does not solve infrastructure issues is not developed. I doubt if there are any developed states in India. Kerala does well in education, literacy and human empowerment, but communist rule means that the only saving grace for this state (economically) is foreign remittance and infra support from neighbouring states.
These people are soo obsessed with their image that whoever raises doubts on them they start worshiping them in order to make them happy!! Till yesterday it was Congress and now Modi... haha
