But they are very small as compared to these 11 cities. These 11 cities are the top wealth earners and job creators. Also, all these 11 cities are huge education hubs of the country as well with tremendous heritage and history spread over several centuries.

How can New Delhi feature in any civilized list? Cities full of animals cannot be part of a civilization. Where so many people are rapists and criminals? Delhi was a city of Tthugs and it still is.
as a part of india? majority of the bengali ppl address india as hindustan. Bengalis r not indian. they r independent ethnic, like kashmiris, nagas, mizos, assamese, garo, manipuri etc.majority of bengal wants independence like kashmiris.

TIER II AND III CITIES LIKE BHOPAL VADODARA NAGPUR ARE HAVING FAR BETTER HUMAN LIFE QUOTIENT LIKE LOW POLLUTION, LESS TRAFFIC AVAIALBILITY OF CHEAP ACCOMMODATIONS FRESH VEGETABLES FRUITS GREENERY AND LOT OF WATER.CALLING HELLHOLES LIKE PUNE AND MUMBAI AS BETTER THAN BHOPAL IS JUST BIG BULLSHIT
and the fool hardy's dont even know every city is just a garbage. And they are fighting over which is better garbage. I have stayed in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and made frequent visits to Hyderabad and Chennai. Now I am staying in London and have been to Singapore, Paris, New york, Sydney, Dubai,Bahrain,Muscat , Edinburgh,San Jose and Vancouver. I cant even imagine any Indian city to be eligible to be rated. My birth town Akkalkot is far better than all those cities mentioned in this survey.

IDIOT IS THERE ANY CITY IN INDIA CURRENTLY WHO HAS BASIC INFRASTRUTURE?? READ THE ARTICLE AGAIN. IT SAYS THAT ALL CITIES LISTED DOES NOT HAVE BASIC TRANSPORTATION, ROADS, AND OTHER NEEDS. BUT FROM THE CURRENT LOT SURAT HAS BETTER INFRASTRUCTURE THAN OTHERS, NOT THE BEST, BUT BETTER. ERASE INFOTECH....
Top 50 cities need to be connected with high speed rail infrastructure and suburban metro within those cities, and also include world class road infrastructure.
What is the center waiting for, An action taken now will atleast take around 25 years to connect at the fastest pace, but the action and descision itself may take 25 years from now.
