May his soul rest in peace

A fit candidate if any who deserves the Bharat Ratna. Many Indians escaped malnutrition due to his efforts and success.

MILK REVOLUTION
by Jayaraman Krishnan on Sep 09, 2012 03:03 PM

If India can have great people like Dr.Kurien who created paradigm shift in milk production from a situation of deficit to surplus it is really a pity that there are so many qualified men and women in India who could change the land scape of India if they are given such opportunities to so something for the betterment of our country. It is unfortuante that India is losing so much of grains, vegetables and fruits which are rotting and becoming a waste just because we have no one to really take charge to change this horrific situation. It is just a matter of government policy decision that could change the situation. If Dr.Kurien, a man from Kerala could settle down in Gujarat and show focus and determintion to ensure that milk is not wasted but channelised and collected through co-operative efforts I am sure there are many in our country who can turn the tables in lot of other areas. Unfortunately our politicians do not have the foresight to do what is necessary? It is sad that we are losing good people like Dr.Kurien and not our Oldies in our politics so that younger generation can come forward to do what is necessary for our country to forge ahead. Let us pay homage to a man who really worked hard to bring India in the world map. I pray that his soul rests in peace.

Dr Kurien's service to the country will be remembered by everyone whenever we drink a glass of milk. He made the country proud by making India, a largest producer of milk in the world. May his soul rest in peace.
