No Comparison with China which has build
Railways linking Mainland to Lhasa in Tibet highest & most difficult terrain in the world within record time.

Also look at a Dams, Ports, Airports, Highways,
waterways, cities & others infrastructure projects in China
under one party communist rule with only one agenda of
nation Building.

Great work..

Nowadays middle class is turing into irritating levels of pessimism, with the support of Anna Hazare. "Looks like" they have given contract to some one who knew the business. Thanks to rediff, for showing this project.

If it was a 3000 crore scam, all media houses would have made it in headlines..

we indians have not seen any decent road with proper infrastructure in place. We know only what is reported in media. We have to open our eyes big enough and long enough and work hard to achieve any level of levelness. then we can compare. till then...we have to compare ourselves with the neighbouring SAARC.

not a single indian company capable of constructing a tunnel on its own.... india is far from being a self sustainable country....

problem is not with quality engineers. the problem is with methods. we fail more often to build heavy engineering equipment because we dont follow proper methods and in engineering there are no shortcutss

It is not about capability , It is about bidding and winning contract. If you see engineers and equipments are similar to what L&T and others have.

Not at all. Even today the mission critical components for any machine is imported from the west. We are not aware because we see only the Indian name in the machine chassis. We are far behind in that respect.
