I dunno why people are talking much about this house about its expense and all. If you are questioning Mr Ambani before that you have to have questioned all Maharaja & royal family of this country. Ambani has created so many jobs for people and making such house while all theses maharaja looted people and made huge huge Mahels for their lavish life!!!! Very disgusting!!!
Ambani have earned money, purchased land and than build his house.... why people crying over it. The are not looking at to how many he has created the Job. Ambani's house is on his own peace of land for which he had paid money to Government also. The lady is supporting those people who have captured Government land and without paying a single penny they have build their houses. The are living comfortably in it. If Medha is so concerned about these let her buy a plot of land for these people and then build houses on it and than donate it to them. The crap lady is a media eye seeker nothing else than it. For every wrong doing of people she support them. And why the comparison at all.

Brother, let me tell you how they are earning money; 2G scam , you know better. Now a days whatever silver import consignments are coming India they are buying it immediately. creating a panic of price rising and they will sell it when silver will touch 1 lakh a kilo.Today therewas a news that they are entering in wholesale market .
This dumb lady wants to do away with the cut-off dates for rehabilitation of slum tenants. Does she have any idea how this will promote the mushrooming of more slums and the burden this will impose on the civic amenities of Mumbai? Sometimes one wonders if such social activists have even a basic grasp of the issues they are fighting for. This issue has been discussed and dismissed in both the High Court and Supreme Court but as usual, socialists are proving to be nuisance creators in the path of development.

Yes. Agree with you. Medha Patkar is clearly against progress. Her stand on several issues has shown she is an educated fool. Hope she takes a cue from the defeat of Communists in WB and in Kerala.

Imagine how bad situations is there from where people prefer to come to Mumbai and live in slums which are not fit for living even for animals! Unless the reasons behind this are addressed, nobody can stop creation of slums not only in Mumbai but in every big city of India.
It is sad in deed. The gap between the richest and the poorest in India is increasingly expanding like the Universe or shall we say like Ambani's Empire!
I was hearing Bal Thackeray ji being interviewed on the TV yesterday. I liked his remark "there are only two religions in India - i) The Rich and ii) The Poor. There is nothing truer than this.
The saddest thing is that our Govt. be it the UPA, the NDA, the Marxist or any other party Govt, is doing sweet little to alleviate the sufferings of the poor. The minimum "Roti, Kapda aur Makaan" remains a distant goal even after 64 years of independence. The Constitution makers provide for "Secular Socialist Republic". Is this socialism that the poor do not get two meals a day, have no roof over their head, have no clothes to cover their body whereas the likes of Ambanis have "Antillas"? Then our politicians talk big in terms of our development!
Ambanis should be ashamed of having built Antilla - which stands tall and laughs at all the slum dwellers! Ambanis haven't become big by this. This shows their smallnes; their inferiority complex!

Why people come to Mumbai or any metro city where they know that living cost is going to be too high.
UPA has programme of MNERGA, RAY and NDA has programmes like IAY, SGSY, SGRY, Antodya, etc.
People come here to play gamble with their destiny when the govt created job at their native place.
Its people's wish dear and the politicians want these people to be poor to get vote only thing they state that there is wide gap in rich and poor while they get money for their election campaign from these rich and with that money they get vote from these poor. Once the gap of rich and poor will subside where the money and vote will come as the Govt has not done work to please the people. Its Govt wish to keep people hungry so that they ask only for roti.. if you fill their belly they will ask for bed also
Medha fights for any case where she can earn money. She has a fixed price of 7 Cr to elevate any case. Had Shivalik offereed her 7 Cr, she would have never supported Golibar Slum Dwellers. RAW shud investigates where are this multiple 7 Cr going............
