Taxes , fraud , exploiting emps
by Sri R on May 12, 2011 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

These companies don't pay taxes as they are enjoying tax holiday .. the day they start paying taxes they'll show up losses ...
When you are on tax holiday you are not supposed to remove any employee (this is what they agreed and took land at mud cheap price) .. but look back during recession ...
Another reason is employees are paid very less
when compared to the work they do .. 12-18 hours a day .. but these hours are actually billed to the client ..
One cannot find any ethics any where here .

Making people to work 24/7, less pay, less benefits, low perdiem on foreign assignments can help these cos' to make good profits. Employees suffer by working long hours & no other life.

The new order in Indian IT

Amazing that TCS considered a conservative company continues to surge ahead. Cognizant isnt in the same class and a trifle risky from an investor viewpoint but clearly better managed than a jaded Wipro which is really a family run company. I think Infy will continue to do well though and it might be that HCL will be the next to overtake Wipro if it plans some acquisitions smartly.

there should be healthy competition but not jealousy and become another Satyam which is a shame on this great country and the people who are considerably seen as quite intelligent and worth hiring by westerners and are real threat to China and US particularly in IT Sector.

kandan, bangalore
