Rajat Gupta acted against the essence of the Bhagavad-Gita which was delivered by Sri Krishna to boost Arjuna’s declining morale, motivation, confidence and to increase his (Arjuna) effectiveness due to his (Arjuna) intra-personal conflict, which was to fight or not to fight the war at Kurukshestra Sri Krishna gave not only spiritual enlightenment but also the art of self management, conflict management, stress, anger management, transformational leadership, motivation, goal setting and many others aspects of management which can be used as a guide to increase HRM effectiveness. Unlike the western approach to HRM, which focuses in exploring the external world of matter and energy, the Bhagavad-Gita recommends a HRM approach, which focuses on exploring the inner world of the self. Transformational Leadership After hearing 575 verses from Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-Gita , Arjuna was motivated, energized and acted according to Sri Krishna’s instruction. This is transformation management (leadership), as quoted by Narayana (1998) who explained what happened after the Bhagavad-Gita . He (Arjuna) stood steady on the ground with bow and arrow in hand. Dear Rajat Gupta, No Problem, just somehow take a bail and come to India for a few days. Congress Party will give you Rajya Sabha Ticket and make you Minister for Public Works. You can continue your nefarious activities and share them with a particular bank in Italy. Just you have to say once every week "I am a humble servant of Gandhi family" in the press. You will never be arrested and Raul Khan will take you along with him to roadside eateries in Karnataka once in a while. Just take it easy..!
Its to early to judge a person on base of a report ,may time successful people r targeted for cheap publicity.Regarding Mr Wadhwa how many of us really know him and his contribution to society its big question mark.
It is happened in India...the case would drag on for 25 years before being closed for lack of evidence. Since this is US, I am sure Rajat Gupta will be behind bars soon.
Wadwha's comment that it is a negative to community statement is incorrect. How long will we link an individuals errors/mistakes to the whole community. I think Indians in US should grow up and stop making such links. Did jweish community feel guilty when Martha Stewart was put in jail for Insider trading??? Wadhwa grow up man
