Rajat should have made sure that he is "seen" to be clear, so the pattern of calls made to Rajaratnam, and the trades made immediately following those calls, show a strong pattern that leads to very strong suspicion. You cant just shrug this away as a conspiracy.

@vishnu, stop making racist comments regardless of your views.

Like Sonia who takes all decisions and puts the onus on Manmohan while in trouble which he likes time and again as he is more interested in power than self respect and dignity.

This is clearly INSIDER trading
by Ganesh Johnson on Mar 04, 2011 02:57 PM

Gupta is in a holy mess. The SEC is not stupid to make unsubstantiated charges. They have taped recordings of these calls and clear call timelines that establish Gupta called Raja after his sensitive board meetings/calls happened. Now why would Gupta call not once, not twice but multiple times in a well-established pattern? He was passing insider information. Whether he benefited or not is not the issue. Secondly, he's a smart guy. Galeon probably has off-shore accounts which are Gupta's proxy, and his profits would be getting siphoned off to those accounts.

The emperor has no clothes!

The Indian community is shocked. Obviously, they believe that Gupta and his ilk - the IIT/IIM golden boys can do no wrong.

Well, Gupta thought himself too smart than many, and did the most brazen things. The chicken are coming home to roost!
