Power to weight ratio
by Peethambaran Nair on Jul 05, 2011 08:55 PM  | Hide replies

Maruti has gone nuts or what???!!! They launched 1245 Kg SX4 with punny 1.3 diesel engine of 90 BHP. It seems maruti is neither in a mood to develop a more powerful engine nor to outsource one. They only have Fiat 1.3 turbo charged with 90 BHP. Here, this vehicle is fitted with the swift engine which is not even turbo charged and have only 75 bhp. interestingly, the kerb weight should be way higher than sx4 diesel, top of it, 7 SEATER! if it is not a mistake of the reporter then GOD bless MARUTI.

Don't get worked up.

The 'S' in SUV in this case stands for "Small" not "Sports"!

How is this stunning??

Has the definition of stunning changed to describe the absolute mediocre?

Maruti cars are dabbas. Did you know that GM's Beat is only 20 kgs lighter than Maruti's Esteem?
Maruti cars are super light and they're smashed to pieces in accidents.

This car would lose its sheen if driven on muddy, potholed indian roads.
Best mode of transport for our roads is the ever dependable bullock cart.
