Mamtaji What is the ultimate use of Duonto 12223/24?
by mammen antony on Jan 28, 2011 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

Duronoto express Train No.12223/24 is supposed to be a fast train between LTT Mumbai and Ernakulam(Kerala).Without a single stop in between, this one take almost 22 hours to reach the destination.Any other draggy trains to Kerala takes the same time or lesser. So what is the ultimate use of introducing this train.Might as well , make few halts in important stations like Madgaon, Mangalore, Calicut, Thrissur and final halt at ERS.Mamtaji see the availabilty of the seat in Duronto 12223/24- at any day it is over 400 plus. Why? make it viable, economical and attractive.

She can only protest & eradicate TATAs from WB.
She failed to destabilise WB govt., although she spent all her time in it.
Obviously her ministry lsot track & derailed.

One simple thing - How much you can burden a single track path? Obviously due to cfrequent cross overs trains do loose time & all of them consume almost same time.
So either put up a second track there OR change name of Duronto & make that train halt at many places, at least it will create revenue.

Her duty is to increase number of trains and laying foundation stones throughout india to gain popularity. She is not at all bothered about the financial viability.

Smt Mamata Bannerjee is doing very well job for Indian Railways. She is mostly thinking about the poor and middle class socity of India. More than she is now investing on railways. So it seems that loses. Indian Railway is on peak hour of progress now.If Smt Mamata Bannerjee stays on her chair for 10 years, Indian Railways will get its golden decade..................................................

if mamta stays for few more year railway will be in big trouble, so will poor passengers also. plz board rail ur self and see how down the standar has gone down in her period. food is pathetic, bogey have become unhygenic,as staff seldom work, they Know MAMTA is too occupied in West BEngal to care for railway.
i am not anti or pro mamta, i am just telling u my experience, i am in marketing job and travel for 10-15 days a month on railways all over india.even LALU was better in mamnaging railways at least due to his fear most staff used to work.
plz MAMTA may be best thing for Bengal politics but she is certainly shame for railways

The problem is Mamta's attitude. She thinks that following on expert advice, she would become anti-people. Not necessarily. Look at Lallu. He made a point to spend 1 day in every week at Delhi on listening to experts and took calculated risks. He was not only able to turnaround railways and make good name for himself but also ensured that nothing went wrong fundamentally. Mamta acting in an impusive, emotional way is neither protecting railways, nor her nor the people. I would say that her days as the railway minister are numbered. You might argue that Lallu lost his next election in Bihar. But once you turn a central minister, your level of thinking has to expand beyond the interests of your own state. Or atleast you should be able to strategise in a manner that nobody complains. Ex. Dayanidhi Maran. Even though most of the indsutrial developments in his time happende around south india, no nobody worried about. Sadly, that is not the case with Mamta.

in ten yrs from now at this rate railways will be wiping out entire capital under her. a person who is not serious at his job, always looking for politics in wb bengal cannot be expected to do national job like for railways. only time will tell dear!

Why so many special trains just to please Bengali fraternity?
by Satpal Singh Bhamra on Jan 28, 2011 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

There are so many special heritage trains being run across the span of India which involve a great amount of money in waste. How many Indians have benefited from these trains except the bengali fraternity?
