IDEA is worst network

IDEA is the worst operator. Never switch to IDea. Better switch to Vodafone or Docomo

No difference!!

Mobile portability will bring limited and temporary hapiness....much like our general elections....onceits the congress, then its the BJP and next Janata Dal. Basically same s h i t in different avataars. Cellular companies have a cartel and customer service is the last priority on their minds...again very much like our political parties.

MNP for Inter Telecom Circles
by Chandrasekar S on Jan 25, 2011 09:44 AM

Yes MNPis a good odea, if it is possible between inter telecom circles also. Otherwise the offers will be provided by every service provider in a different way. If MNP between inter telecom circles not available means, there is not much of use for the users, except creating competitive environment among service providers

Systemic Problem
by amit nakra on Jan 25, 2011 09:43 AM

Each mobile operator has left the users to live in an environment which defines how they percieve what users expect from their service provider. Beyond that understanding they are not willing to change.

Customer will keep on changing numbers but will just be switching from working against one system to another system both equally unwilling to change to customer demands.

On the top of it there are customer care executives which are trained only to handle the FAQ and unwilling to understand anything beyond their limited menu FAQ. Unless the companies invest in calibrating & training their staff on a regular basis the consumer is going to still have the raw deal whether with one service provider or the other.

One major reason for change in number at least in my case which is valid is for at least getting the basic need \"the network\" and that too from a company which claims of its superior network.

I can work with an unresponsive system but at least I should get the network for the mobile to be of any use.

People like me may not use the MNP immediately, but will eventually use it in this competitive world of customer service and value.

by ravi iyer on Jan 25, 2011 09:36 AM

The services of all are same except airtel and bsnl where the coverage is good.Others players like Voda/idea/videocon are the same.If you are having an postpaid connection then you must ask for itemwise billing Else these fellaws will drain the subscriber like a thief.
