DON'T GO BY THE RUSH...GO BY VALUES...
by Ranganath S on Jan 21, 2011 02:19 PM

Remember 1 paisa per second trick and we ended up paing 10 paisa more for a 1-minute call?

And what about lifetime validity and then keep charging every 3/6 months without fail?

This MNP also is one of the latest gimmics by these...WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE that we will get BETTER SERVICE/LOW PRICE/USAGE SATISFACTION after we shift over? no one is guaranteeing as all seem to be the same....

SO MY SINCERE REQUEST IS TO WAIT FOR SOME DAYS/WEEKS AND SEE WHAT IS THE ACTUAL TRICK OF THIS AND THEN SHIFT OVER...

you take a reliance connection. The plan is PVF 299. It charges you Rs 1.20 / 3 minute irrespective of weither you are in roaming or not. The charges will remain the same. I mean in roaming too they will charge you Rs 1.20 / 3 minute only.
Apart from that you can activate sms pack of 19 rs. They you will get per sms @1 paisa in your home circle and roaming also.

Vodafone is OK
by Siddhi Panchal on Jan 21, 2011 02:07 PM

I am using Vodafone since a long time and I didnt have a lot of issues.
Only once they over charged for late payment because they received the cheque late. But it wasnt my fault because their representative failed to put the cheque on Saturday.
The next month they happily reversed it.

My average monthly bill was 700-800 but when I spoke to them that its too much, they provided me a better plan and my bill rarely goes over 300.

Happy with Vodafone at the moment!!

Can we have similar freedom of ‘Government’ portability quick (3 months) instead of waiting for 5 yrs?

Really a Good thought, but it anyway will take 5 years to process the request and it may be charged more (Eg: 1.76 lac crore) from common man. :)
