Most of the swiss banks are running due to ill gotten money of Nehru clan, other boot licker Congressi, Lalu, Mulayam, Karuna, Mayawati, Pawar, Paswan and Communists' top leaders. Any bank can fail in world but our corrupt, castiest and pseudo secular politician will never allow any swiss bank to fail.
I own an account Credit Suisse Bank since the last one year and half. It is not true that the account is completely free of cost. It cost me about INR 750 a month to keep it running.

It is like saying job banks request your resumes and put it in their database? Then after collecting millions of resumes, they have a bingo idea and say that we will charge you money for maintaining your resume in our database.

It cost about INR 750 a month to keep it running.--So cheap? That is why our honest politicans r keeping their accounts in Swiss Banks. Another good thing is that Swiss Bnks maintins secrecy and this is out of control of Govt. of India. By the way it is not clear, what has compelled the writer to write abt. SWISS BANK at present?

How do they maintain secrecy? when so many indian consultants do business for them. Some one came to know about indian deposits
Why Swiss Bank/ A Raja, Kalmadi and Ashok Chavan, Tharoor, Pawar, Mayawati, Mulayam have openly looted the country and so much of proofs have been published in newspapers. In any other country in the world these people would have been hanged to death, except our country. There is perfect understanding between all political parties not to touch each other, they only score political advantage and come back to power. Somehow Congress which has mastered the art of corruption could befool people also and could rule the country for more than 50 years at the centre.

You left Karuna & Co. they have completly looted TN. Areas like Film Making, TV Channels, Real Estates, Colleges, Schools, Finance Co., IT Companies, Building contracts, Liquor business, etc etc etc. All DMK roughs.They have already looted TN.
USA also wants to uncover Americans hiding money in UBS and other Swiss Banks. Swiss Federal Council has made a deal with the U.S. Justice department to hand over the data on 4,450 American clients of the Union Bank of Switzerland, after a long investigation showed that the bank helped them engage in tax evasion.

Is USA and UK has Unstable governments. People who live in countries with unstable governments and banks in particular often turn to Swiss banks because of their security and privacy.
... the BIGGEST DIFFERENCE is - these banks do not ask the SOURCE OF INCOME - From where the money to open or operate the account - is it from illegal activities by murde ring some one or through corruption, which is NOT MENTIONED By Rediff.
