Useless budget

Useless budget. We can not expect any innovative ideas from these old people who don't know how to make people friendly budget. During the budget an idiot was sleeping just behind FM. That is the quality of people who are running the country.

God only can save us!!

This budget is for higher class people not for middle class salaried people. Once again wrong promises and making middle people frustrated. Big problem for middle class, neither they can protest nor they can suffer in this current situation.

Bakwaas Budget
by Maihoon Don on Feb 28, 2011 02:19 PM

What is there for middle class? Nothing. No steps taken to counter price rise, inflation etc. A total failure of a budget.

Exemption limit for women
by Debkuntal Mahajan on Feb 28, 2011 02:18 PM

Rediff moderator :: please change your statement "Exemption limit for women remains the same at Rs 2,40,000." . For women, the exemption limit is Rs 1,90,000/= and NOT Rs 2,40,000/=. Please go through the Budget Memorandum Part-I, Page 2 last para.

Not for common man
by Prajesh on Feb 28, 2011 02:17 PM

Surely, it is not common man's budget. He mentioned 'Corruption is a problem and we have to fight collectively'. Does any politican has answer? He agreed inflation is high but didn't talked about what govt is doing to bring it down. Why govt don't take any action when it is going up? Why are they wait for? How much time they need to deal with black money, correuption & inflation?

Mr PM & FM, When will we see result? We're tried of false promises.

We are reaching the end of a remarkable financial year, he said.
by Hebbar R on Feb 28, 2011 02:13 PM

Yes Mr,. Mukherjee you are right. This is the FY that none in India would like to forget. This is the FY when the biggest scams ever have hit the Nation. It is also remarkable as the Govt has done nothing tangible to get back the illegally stashed black money from foreign banks. Rather he has imposed Service Taxes on a host of services that affect the common man and also done nothing (except give some alms) to the ordinary IT Assessee - savings on IT Exemption will be a huge Rs 166.67 per month.
