Senior citizens-as defined by IT Act.
by vinod issar on Feb 27, 2011 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

Dear FM sir,
you are requested to treat/re-define Senior Citizen/pensioner as a person of 60yrs. and above.Reason behind this request is that a govt.employee superannuates at the age of 60yrs. after putting in full service of 33yrs.
We do hope that this request/proposal will be viewed,by you,in right spirit.
Thank you,sir.

Dear Issar sir,

What will you do with saving so much money. Price of 1 kg aloo in India is Rs 10, in USA Rs 200. So we are lucky ones here in India who get things really really cheap so that everyone can afford it.

Kind regards
IIPMer

Double tax
by Manoj on Feb 27, 2011 01:43 PM

There should be some rebate on tax we pay when we buy commodities from market, as a salaried person we pay tax on our income and than spendings also as sellers charge tax on whatever things we purchase, there should not be double burden

suggested tax free limits are too low
by commonman on Feb 27, 2011 12:59 PM

1. Suggesting increase of tax free limit for individiuals from 1.6 lakhs to Rs. 2 lakhs and Rs. 2.4 lakhs to Rs.2.5 lakhs is too too low.

2. Tax should be charged for income levels more than avaerage per capital income and it should be minimum of Rs. 3 lakhs for individuals.

3. Why KPMG is not suggesting to nationalise all private mines and carrying by the public sector undertakings, being Government Advisers.

4. Why KPMG is not suggesting schemes to unearth Trillions of black money, being Government advisers.

Public want
by kailashchandra bohra on Feb 27, 2011 12:12 PM

1.No tax.
2.Not to do any work.
3.Duty of the Govt to feed while they are enjoying with theirg/f or b/f.
4. No study, no college and no discipline.
On which day we will come forward for the Nation. We observe, numerous persons occupying big bunglows, big farm houses andd so on so forth increasing their properties by their all the means but applying their mind. They are no where in the tax net. It is wholly the duty of the Governance not of the Government to bring them in the ambit of the tax net.Why only the Govt or other servants are required to pay, the others are also Indian Citizen-but make them responsible citizen.
We can put our huge posters aas if we are just above the almighty GOD but when Tax payment is desired they push bach their legs. Make such persons non eligible for standing to any election.
But what we want and used to do is to pick such persons whose files are under search and they are the best suted to head the PSU or any freshly created an authority so that he may not go against the appointing authorities. ON WHICH DAY WE AND OUR SO CALLED GOD FATHER OF THESE DAY WILL IMPROVE.
