It will be interesting to see who will buy Chinese cars in India. They could not make any headway even in the white good market with brands such as Haier so far. Car market is highly brand conscious and you cannot expect people to go and buy some "chingbung" car with same ease of buying a Maruti or Honda just because it is cheaper.
If this is going to happen, we may loose our trade mark words MADE IN INDIA.........they come here coz they have lesser ports for shipping, they cant get people for labour asking peanuts as salary.
They cant get consumers who keeps silent and gets convinced at the showroom itself.........
Finally........they get a place to pollute very freely as their country is topping the list of polluted countries tag.
And the best thing to hear is.......they easily find greedy dogs who r ready cheat the country by giving away farmer lands to setup their factories and finally go sleep in hospitals when scam comes out.....

Stupid Karthik, China is trying to destroy Indian Car industries and economy by doing this. if u reaaly want to buy cheap car buy NANO.
Best way to prevent attacks from China is to provide them contracts in Indias nation building ,good shoes, dress, interior designing products and all Japanese items are made there fro TV fridge mobiles cookers ,leave what is not good like clothes be care ful some catch fire ,involve them for nation building ,when Indians see their hard work ,indutrious nature patriotic streak Indians too will become hard working and industrious. And Chinese mouth watering food is the best of all ,delicious except the sauces which may bring a rise in Blood pressure if used daily. The second largest economy was not built in a day but years of alogging hard work achievement comes to those who strive.Contracts will help India get them out after two years when projects are complete too .Think

Lanka is capable of making bridges on their own??? I have heard that still you prefer elephent safari....
The only way to keep Chinese strategic interest under check is to tie their economic interests firmly with us. And the best way to do is to create the largest market for Chinese goods in the world in India.
Many of you are using tata photon or other wi-fi for internet,I donot think these are bad !
Dell and Lenovo laptops available in India are made in China.
Nokia,Max,Lemon all these mobiles are made in China.
Price of Chinese goods are much cheaper. But you have to ensure strict quality control. Before any goods are despatched from China, you have to come to China and inspect and then accept any consignment. This is my own experience.Donot accept any goods which does not meet your quality requirements.Even Essar is selling Chinese mobiles thru its outlet One Stop.
Another reason for quality complaint of Chinese goods is the Indian traders.Indian traders always want a bargain or lower price. They are not ready to pay good price. So,Chinese manufacturer also does not want to lose the order. So,they supply inferior product at lower price.
So,there are two sides to every aspect.Donot just post bulshit without analysing the things properly.
There are many vested interests,we have to see what is affordable for our own people.
Indian manufacturers are producing inferior goods and asking premium price which is anti-people.Atleast Chinese competition will ensure that our manufacturers will also try to produce better goods at lower price.

Many International brand electronic gadgets are manufactured in China. YES, but they are manufactured under strict NORMS of those brand owners.
Chinese themselves do not care for strict standards. It will be upto us to make sure & common person will not be able to judge that.
In the past there was hue & cry of 'Chinese Glass Lined reactors' fro our chemical industry. Our industrialists did not have choice available & waiting list was very long, So a few got attracted to Chinese reactors, but repented soon.

Very well said Om shanthi. In fact you do not need to pay a very high price for Chinese good quality products, just the market price. But the Indian traders always bargain and end up losing in the long run... A nation cannot build such massive infrastructure with overall poor quality.
