If ever possible to construct a 2 km. building , there will adequate technical input for it's safety,if it is built in India by the Indian builders , it sure will collapse in 2 hrs.

There is no "ADARSH" like Ghotala in Saudi Arabia . We can have the reply to that if corrupt Politicians don't interfere and take the chunk of the share free of cost.Which Builder can afford that in India

Where does the fresh water supply and electricity for these...
by NashikMarathi on Aug 06, 2011 12:04 AM  | Hide replies

.... buildings come from?

Fresh water comes from dams in Thane and Nashik districts of Maharashtra which the state govt has created over rivers in Maharashtra and piped in over land in Maharashtra - the electricity is generated by state govt in Maharashtra (22.6 GW - highest in Nation) from power plants all over the Maharashtra like Hydro power from Koyna(1.9 GW) which generates as much power as all of Bihar(1.9 GW in Bihar).

HEY all you Union territory declaration honchos.... why don't you bring the fresh water from your dear polluted Ganges/Yamuna to Mumbai or electricity from your wasteland of UP/Bihar?

Can't - can you? Now run along....

he is a gh.at.ee no use of explaining. the best solution more and more they hate bihar.is more and more you come to MH. they have no right on Mumbai; can anyone imagine ghat.is building such towers; only outsiders can do it. They can at max have cities like nasik.

Even Pune or Nashik far better than your filthy Patna and our mountain dam water better than your polluted Ganges.

DGCA and Waqf board playing spoilsport
by Six Sigma on Aug 05, 2011 07:55 PM  | Hide replies

Department of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has put a cap on World One stating it would "interfere" with radar operations in Mumbai Airport. Yeah - right - so the three Airports in New York don't function ? Looks more like "Give us money and we'll let you construct"

Waqf board - out of nowhere- came out of the blue after all auctions were conducted transparently - and is now asking for stoppage of India Tower (the first image in this article)!

Reason? They say the land belongs to them and only a MOSQUE can be built there! Can you believe it? Stop India Tower and build a mosque!!!

India is doomed with such pathetic organizations having ANY say in the matter
