They can put one massive shivling on the top of a sky-scraper ! Or may be Lord Shiva's statue with tapashya pose and we can fool foreigners,"look shivjee is doing tapashya at the top of Kailash"..the sky scraper can be named as Kailash tower...ok ?

chennai is already a hub of slum.Despite govts. best efforts.People come back to streets after getting the flats from the slum clearance board.They either sell or let out for rent.There is also dirty politics involved. Our people have no honesty and they are the nalah worms who cannot live in the luxury of the flat.They intend to earn money by letting out the flat given by the board. Tamil Nadu perhaps is the first state to try eradicate slum dwelings, but people are not honest.
In Mumbai they are necessary. Calculate the time saved/fuel saved/reduced road trafic/reduced load on train & bus srtvices by allowing to construct only & only housing complexes to a height or to 30 floors. In the sam space you can provide more houses. Let our bureaucrats work out, They are the major culprits in all the activities of our Government.
Vacate slums and old houses,provide compensation to the owners,give them new flats,build 100s of sky scrapers through out the country.
This way,we can create land for building wider roads and beautiful gardens,lines of green trees,water fountains,etc..the whole country will look slum free and beautiful.
