and like most indian don't want to compare themself to pakistan which have the same gdp per cap. I don't think indian should even compare themself to china which have 4 time larger gdp per cap.

If you considering US dollar devaluation comparing with Chinese Yuan, China's normal GDP will catch up that of USA in no more than 15 years from now.

Your argument is laughable!
Whether an economy is bigger and more important than another economy has *NOTHING* to do with per capita GDP.
If we were to agree with you, then according to the CIA World Factbook, Qatar's GDP per capita is US$150,400 while the US is only US$47,100. And people like you boast that the US is a superpower!

Our GDP is only with rich people where as other countries it is with common man. Our GDP is far better--- go and see Swiss bank accounts of Indians. hahahaha
There is something seriously wrong in our economical mathematics. Gujrat is among the worst 5 state in term of hunger index. So many other facts too indicated GDP is not measure of actual misery or replenishment of the common people.
GDP only shows how are corporates are growing.
70 % of India earn less than a 50 rupees per day. 52% of India having agriculture as their profession and we internet bloggers are not at all connected with them.

In India Whether the great economists want to
1) REDUCE THE prices of RELITY sector or not?
2) Whether they want to bring down the prices of Milk, sugar, wheat, rice, grapes, orange juice, eggs, lassi, Idlis (all these 'controled' by pawar OR NOT?
