Below are the excerpts from the above articles, this is what Mr. Ganapathy said
"As a Tamilian, I faced discrimination in the beginning....." he says.
Why do we Indians always feel that we are being discriminated because of our caste, religion or is it we use caste based discrimination to our own advantage.
maybe Mr. Ganapathy faced discrimination because he just wanted money and was ready for anything and not discriminated because of his religion.

You state:
""As a Tamilian, I faced discrimination in the beginning....." he says.
Why do we Indians always feel that we are being discriminated because of our caste, religion or is it we use caste based discrimination to our own advantage.
maybe Mr. Ganapathy faced discrimination because he just wanted money and was ready for anything and not discriminated because of his religion."
Firstly, where did he state that he felt discriminated because of his religion? And you are trying to disprove religion based discrimination!
Next, did you land from planet Mars last night? Have you not heard north Indians refer to South Indians as 'sala madrasi' and ridicule their culture, attire, appearance...something that Bollywood has not only institutionalized, but some 'iconic' films and even actors of Bollywood have relied on lampooning south indian culture/language/appearance to further their success. So stop pretending that the so called 'discrimination face by a south indian' is such a far fetched idea as to leave you so dumb struck!
Next, if this guy, who lived his life and is more aware of what he went through than you are of his life, if this person says that initially he faced a lot of discrimination being a Tamilian, I am inclined to believe him, more than your dismissal of the problems he faced.
And how did you conclude that 'maybe he just wanted money and was ready for anything' so discrimination was okay. How co

Ganapathy's story is inspiring.
Regarding the Tamilian thing it is quite possible that he was discriminated against because in India in almost all states outsiders face some discrimination.
The South Indian who scoff at North Indians in Bangalore and Chennai should think that their kith and kin also work and make fortunes in Mumbai and Delhi.
Marathis in Mumbai should think that there are lakhs of Marathis working in Delhi, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
Similarly people in Delhi and Kolkata need to realize that there are many many from there states earning their bread in other states.
A state is no one's personal property and any Indian has the right to work and make a fortune anywhere in India.
I have been eating his dosa's in Vashi since 93 and have seen him growing like anything. Ganpathy, your story is really inspiring and I am happy that today world knows you.
Ganapathy.. Way to go.. I feel happy and proud on your success.. Really people like you should get Global Recognition which would inspire more youngsters globally..
I am very happy that his father was alive to see son's achievement...Now, one question...Mumbai has given you everything..in the return, what little have you given to Mumbai ?

The best gift any person can give a place, is employment opportunity. Whenever someone opens a business and grows that business, it offers direct employment to some, and indirect employment to a lot.
If a businessman sets up a business and makes it successful, instead of lining up outside his office, asking for offering free food and gifts to others, encourage him to grow his business even more by reinvesting in his success.
Society at large will benefit from such businesses.
We are already electing a government whose responsibility it is to take care of helpless and the poor. Dont ask the government to come and run businesses, and dont insist that businessmen should take care of the poor and the homeless.
By offering employment to people, businesses keep many more from joining the ranks of the homeless and hungry. since you are such a patriot who loves karmabhoomi so much you should be glad that people like this Perm Ganapathy are making his karmabhoomi stronger by growing his business.
Stop cribbing. Instead how about you spending some of your own money on charity, and stop asking Prem to spend his money. How much percentage of your monthly income are you distributing as charity to your Karmabhoomi?
Now dont say that Prem is richer than me, so he should spend moeny on charity, while I will not? You may not be as rich as Prem, but for the hungry person waiting for his next meal, you are a millionaire.
