Socialism has been tried before.....
by NashikMarathi on Sep 08, 2010 06:04 AM  | Hide replies

In the words of the great Winston Churchill

Capitalism is the unequal distribution of wealth
Socialism is the equal distribution of poverty
Communism is socialism with a gun at your back

MM Singh is a fraudulent expert
by Rajendra Gupta on Sep 08, 2010 03:53 AM  | Hide replies

The problem in this country that we have love for degrees.More degrees one carries more learned he is considered.MM Singh is one such person.A typical babu and having no exposure to democratic system and never having stood in any election he has no accountability except to his mistress Sonia gandhi.
He has messed up Indian economy making 300% price rise and 600% property rise in last 7 years. He is fond of world bank and IMF and always focussed on MNCs and FIIs to help them. There lies the glamor and money and benefits. What the hell poor will give to congress? I even doubt he understands basic economics.Economics nd political science cant be separated .That is why Aarthsastra was written. It is a political documentation not economic alone.
Singh says farmers wont have incentive to produce. But where they will produce .India has only 1200 sq yd of land for agriculture per person and that can never feed food, herbs and other crops requirements of one person.Hence India is in serious condition. But MM Singh Government is busy converting land for glamorous malls and foolish industrial projects while old Industrial areas are lying half vacant and in bad shape. In construction lies the kickbacks.
I personally feel that MM Singh is just wearing mask of expertise and honesty whereas he his neither. He is simply seat hotter for rahul baba and is toothless. He failed to do anything material in India for 8 years.A long time.He could not expand judiciary also that is badly required.

All those powers who fled from India are trying to come back.
The fifth columnists are working to bring back those powers
These colonialists make their policies accordingly in their countries.
It is time we make an overall study on the world bodies such as WB, IMF, ADB, MNCs etc.
These bodies have their own hard policies.
They do not accept the SOVEREIGNTY OF NATIONS.
They force nations to follow their policies!!
Horse trading is the rule of the day.
They force or coax India/Indian corporate to follow their dictates.
To achieve this they use the fifth columnists.
Look at the way people talk and uses the terms -reforms, globalization, SEZ, FDI etc
They influence govt through Indian corporate also.
Indian corporate muddle with democratic elections.
Corporate to think seriously.
Let us look for leaders who think for the NATION, speak for the NATION, work for the NATION.
Not to show off, but from the heart of heart.
Let us find political parties who think, speak and work for the NATION.
How many leaders/corporate use the word PATRIOTISM in their public talk.

Ridiculous PM
by krishnan on Sep 08, 2010 03:02 AM

It is ridiculous of PM to show aggresiveness against good-politicalness when coming to help the poor, but show spinelessness when having to show aggresiveness against bad-political policies.

No need to distribute food for free
by l on Sep 08, 2010 03:00 AM  | Hide replies

No need to distribute food for free, this will make poor just lazy as they know govt will supply free food.
Good idea is to push them to do some work and creat job opportunities.

shame...
by A Singh on Sep 08, 2010 02:45 AM  | Hide replies

it is shameful to see PM and his senior minister show helplessness and blame courts for the order of free distibution...instead they should have looked at how it can be done, how the corruption can be reduced or how the distribution can be made better and effecient..
