Mobile credit card by Sam

Congrats to our ace IT expert who again brought a very thought provoking concept of banaking and trade. First time in the world and from an Indian brain as usual. But your article did not discuss the safety, security plugs as the mobile phone technology is highly vulnerable for infrigement and a technology like that RIM-Blackbery is to be adopted.

that this will redice farmers' suicide, food grains decay, maoist problems and more over all grave problems in India.
Dude... technology alone cant do anything. We are a developing nation. Chandrababu Naidu did somuch on technology and was a hero of the corporate. What happend to him in next elections? We are still performing research on unwanted and hyped stuff. Atlast our people started some research on earthquakes by digging few kilometers inside. Yes.. thats what required than chandrayan

Yes it will.. if you can account for every paise in the economy and no cash transactions.. Yes it will !!! No evading duties & taxes, no bribes that can't be tracked. You can use the money legitimately to solve real problems..This sort of digital information has the potentital to kickstart a new movement altoghether, the only problem is the willingness of people to implement it in the first place.

Sam Pitroda`s technologies
by daniel thorat on Sep 07, 2010 03:23 PM

Having read about Homi Sethna today, I wonder whether we really have any original technology, be it IT or nuclear weapons or medicine or anything at all. If we had our own imdogenous sources and technocrats, why did we need the nuclear deal with the US? Why are we getting all computers and like products from the US anmd Europe/Japan? I do think we have nothing really, but a kingsize ego which makes us talk about India being the largest economic power now emerging and also a great world power etc.etc. Actually, nothing of that sort is possible and we simply do not have people of integrity and brains.

Sam Pitroda`s great achievements
by daniel thorat on Sep 07, 2010 03:12 PM  | Hide replies

India must thank him, but will he have enough courage to tell Sonia and the PM to also think of feeding the BPL people and punish Sharad Pawar and his deptts. for the rotten foodgrains? Sam can surely tell PM to feel ashamed of telling it to the SC and to the world that it is his policy to let the foodgrains rot and not to let the poor of India to eat the foodgrains free. Is it PM`s powers or PM1s crime? Let the PM the UPA think of their Aam Admi first and not of the millionaires for whom Pitroda has made these gadgets.
