Electing the conners once is bad enough. And when the conners have been elected by the dumb oafs of India expect absolute corruption and nothing less.

Last 20 yrs..our country is being ruled by non upper class...Be it CM or PM (except Atal ji whos integrity is beyond any doubt). These Brahmins and Banyans were rooted out and left this country. Remember 2 crs Indians outside our country are mostly those. They are making there adopted country a better place to live. It is 95% non upper and mullims who made this country like hell.

But one thing is to appriciated of Congress. Its leaders are very courageous. They do not care for any one.No oppostion,No media or no threat of Law.or Public.they go on doing scams after scam without bothering for any thing. They knew it very vell that public memory is very short and at the time of election they will sing their raga of seculerism and all these foolish partys like TDP,lau,TMC,Communists,DMKs will fall pray to this propoganda and the votes will get devided and with monority votes these so called seculerists will get majority and thus the show will go on.Pity for India. And we the so called educated class go on writing in such coloums,we discuss in our drawing rooms and on the voting day we get holiday,we celebrate it will some party or picnic and sit before TV to see the spicy analysis fo so called experts. So this is just a routine.elections come elections go.the same people will get elected. Some people/party like that of Sharad Pawar will never sit in oppostion, they change their loyalty in the name of nations interest and will enjoy the fruits of Power welath and money. Our media and Judiciary are dumb spectetors.they can not do any thing. All the ultimate powers are in the hands of these people who are at the helm of our country.Media is also not so neutral.there are paid news channels/reporters.So nothing is spared by these so called secular leaders.

Fantastic views!

Fantastic Views, but tell me on thing, how are we going to lay term professionalism in pratise? We agree to the point that professionalism is the approch to solve the problem, but what is the professional standard remains a questionmark. Simple, why to have a telecom ministry? i feel most of the politician negotiate for the plump position based on the money that will fill their pockets (Vested Interest). Telecom ministry is one such department. Ideally, appoint professional from the Industry, empower then with suitabl laws, assign them task to raise maximum revenue, well supported by our bureacrats; to help them function smoothly and only monitor their achivements. Once they successfully achive the objective qualify them for some of the highest civilian awards! Let there be transperancy in what ever they deal. Bring in the media to educate ever step taken by the department so that no one is isolated. We do not say that such system is full proof, but we can look for such a model were the comman man has faith in the system. Yes! a point to be noted, all those who were part of such a panel (industrialist, bureacrats and all other party involved) should not be benefited by any means, post completion of their task!

Excellent point, only thing is keep the Telecom ministry only to monitor the functions of Telecom regulator and the telecom regulator will delegate these funcations. Now the dependence on the telecom minister is negated permanantly! The minister needs to only overlook the activities and will have no role to play in revenue generation

India: scampower of 21st century
by Shailesh Matekar on Nov 29, 2010 03:21 PM

Indians own largest black money reserves in swiss banks. Everybody, from peon to PM is directly or indirectly involved in corrupt practise.

It is something to do with all of us. Schools hiking fees, housing has become out of reach of common man, healthcare services will burn your pockets, commodities also cost high. Wherever you go, people are busy looting. Politician is just a stage manager, he takes his cut and distributes the rest. If every scam is investigated, i am sure we will see a different story. Politicians are just a tip of the iceberg.

India will not be a leader among developing countries if people become experts by sitting on committees; they should be sitting on committees because they are experts.

So let experts come and take up responsibility and they should work for the country and not for their own pockets or personal gains.
