Lets not accept the corruption
by Brijlal Mohanty on Nov 30, 2010 11:05 AM  | Hide replies

The least we can do is not accept little corruptions that happen with us in everyday life. Even going in a Taxi without a meter is supporting the wrong-doing or injustice. So, lets do things thats possible by us and secondly lets voice our concerns in stead of being silent.

I never
Paid donation to a school they never demand
Dealt with black money while registering property ( For this I paid lot of amount to the seller)
TTE as I plan my travel well in advance
Never paid single penny at RTO,but made lot of visits to get my license
------------------------
Paid Rs.50/- to traffic contable for violating stop line (this happened in Chennai)
Paid Rs.100/- to police man who came for passport /address verification ( TWO cops came)
Never paid municipal for any violations,, here too made lot of visits to get my house plan approval and built as per plan (no violations made)
Working in PVT sector (IT) since beginning. I'm from Chennai now abroad.
For all these to happen I took either more leave or trip many times to the respetive office, patiently waiting for quite long time to get things done. I'm generally god fearing person. But.. How many of us will do like this (taking more leave and waiting at govt office for long time????)

WHAT REALLY WE NEED IS,
ONE WHO MAKES POLICY, SHOULD NEVER BE INVOLVED IN IMPLEMENTING IT. IF ONLY RAJA, WOULD HAVE MADE POLICY AND SOME INDEPENDANT AGENCY WOULD HAVE AUCTIONED SPECTRUM, ALL WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. IF YOU GIVE JEWELS SECURITY TO A ROBBERS, WHAT YOU EXPECT?

Acceptable norm from last 60 years by politicians and Govt. servants, Can see everywhere in Police, Judiciary, Sales Tax, Income Tax, Excise, PWD, development authorities, etc.,etc.,
Shift by UPA is Scam is also acceptable norm now, therefore Kalmadi, Pawar, Raja is still roaming to erase all records, proofs etc.,etc.,

Corruption is side bussiness of most of the Employees & it happens in chain so if any one of them get caught, whole team ensure that he should be out of danger so in this process nobody have fear. Everybody do this job as if its their daily routine. Public also know there is no use of complaining & all this stuf because nothing happens in courruption cases.

its wake time for noida extn booking holders
by Qamar Alam on Nov 30, 2010 10:37 AM

if you have booked a flats in Greater Noida alias Noida Extn its time to wake up ,builders have changed the site plan because of the increase in FAR, the new plan
In their new plan they have introduce new towers in the project, increased covered area of all the flats and introduced the commercial area in the apartment

As an effect of all these changes their sale-able area has increased by 10% which around one lakh square fit have increased their profit margin by around Rs. 20 Crore

T his sale-able area came from nowhere except from the encroachment of existing buyers open area, this encroachment of open area will cause shrink or vanishing in the facilities or green area promised to the existing booking holders will shrink, and there will be 14-15 more families coming into the newly introduced tower and commercial area to share the common facilities and open area

Now builder is saying to take the booking amount back, which does not make sense as the value of flats have appreciated significantly from the time of booking.

Corruption above all levels
by Rajan KV on Nov 30, 2010 10:27 AM  | Hide replies

Since the corruptions are to the tune of Lakhs of Crores, common man is not bothered since the amounts are above our imaginable levels.
If you steal Rs.100,you are a thief but if you steal Rs.100000000000000000000, you are emperor.

Corrupt by thought,speech and deed
by M on Nov 30, 2010 10:14 AM

Corruption can be promulgated by thought, speech or deed.
Who does not get into nepotism-networked-references-recommendations when it comes to his/her own relations/sons/daughters...?
Who does not fix ages/certificates/birth-dates when its reserved/paid vacancies on his/her own?
Who does not backbite when it comes to promotion/preferences in workplaces?
Who does not take undue advantages of freebies offered anywhere in office/public-places etc?
Who does not fit more than allowed in TRAINs/Flights habitually?
Who does not lie when it comes to achievements/performances?
CORRUPTION is NEXT TO CHARACTER.
Pelt a stone if u have not committed the same.

by Aseem Khurana on Nov 30, 2010 08:53 AM

Hi,
It is very easy to say corruption is there because of politicians, and our beaurecats.
Have we ever considered we are the common people are the main reasons for that. How?
Lets see-
It was diwali, how much do we pay to people around us in name of festivals- some because of happiness rest so that we may not have any problems from them throughout the year. -Bribing isn't it.

It is not just corruption that is booming. So do our temples and "swamijis" who are also thriving on this ill gotten and looted wealth. All this money is given at least part of it as gold.and diamonds. The ashrams are indeed 5 star hotels and loaded with wealth and they are supposed to have given it to seek solace. The corrupt go Scot free and if caught it takes centuries to get punished. So who cares for law or fear punishment
