According to J S Mill a State which gives maximum pleasure and least pain can be considered a welfare state. But the politicians in India always try to do just the opposite - Maximum pain and least pleasure. Otherwise, how can they accumulate crores and crores and with every election, they declare 4 or five fold income and assets(publicly declared) and not to speak of the income they stash away in foreign countries. How can you expect anything better from them as they have to take orders from other countries. As you see almost all the increases in prices are effected just before or during the visits of Prime Minister because they think price increase of the necessities is globalisation. May God help us to produce some good leaders who believe in welfare of the people and not welfare of the politicians and world population other than Indians.

You assh**e. Samita is right man... That joker is an idiot only and taking the nation's privy for a ride.
Oil price is $78 per barrel now. So in near future petrol prices will come down. But remember india is full of corrupt & CHORs. Even though prices will come down all the business, vendors and traders will take profit and keep the price high. Its not only govt its all indians who are corrupt.

Then why decontrol the oil prices? And for that UPA has to be blamed, they have practically given more freedom to thos CHORs to loot us.

We are fortunate to have the best sons and daughters of the country to govern us. Congress has no alternative. Some dogs will always bark.

yes ..ofcoure.. like U and the likes of you in the CNN and Times now and some time in the NDTV...
People of India were not aware what's going to happen because of recent hikes in Petro products... So the great FM came forward to teach simple economics to his countrymen.
He is a total misfit for the 4th most important position in the country ( 1. Prime minister 2. Home minister 3.Defence Minister and 4.Finance). He is just an experienced clerk generally working with numbers. We want more from him.
Its not an assurance if I have to buy a kilo of rice for 60 rupees and a kilo of oil for 250 rupees. And then then scamsters like Pawar, Madhu Koda, Raja (they pronounce Rasa down south), Arjun Singh , Deshmukh, Mayawaaati, Lallu , Mullasingh , the repulsive blind rotten fcker who would lick anybody's feet to get his litter elected, And the HUMBLE FARMER with BILLIONS from south and other rotten bastds make millions and live happily every after. We must get united to wash this scum.
India is a resourceful country filled with good people. We just need to find good leaders and wipe out the slime.
We have a pack of crooked clowns running the show in India.Last year when the inflation was in single digit the prices of essentials and food was saoring. This year the inflation is in double digits and God only knows what price we are going to pay for food. The Congress exists in power because of only one bogey, secularism. Their love for justice is seen well when we look at the Bhopal case, how Rajiv let Anderson go. The ministers who sat to review the Bhopal case only decided to pay more compensation to the victims but not one word of the reason or the culprit behind Anderson's freedom and the deal behind it. True, as Pranab says now, in the long term everything will be ok because in the long run Congress will be dead !

In the long run all will be dead. But till then, Congress and only Congress will remain because only Congress has leaders who think for the whole country and its people, not just for a section of people, ullike others. Only Congress has statesmen, while all other parties have party leaders

Your statements are funnier than the Rahul's statements. Congress always cared for section of people for each election. I know about which statesmen you are talking but at present these statemen are running in the world and India is burning with price rise and rise in crimes.

Check the history of all Congress wins in elections. Inadvertently there as been price rises. What is the connection? Is it failure to stop the hoarders or is it something else?
But Indians continue to vote for them to kill themselves.
In any case the Indian politicians have given the voters a complex by not serving them yet making money without any conscience. We can never get public servants like Lal Bahadur Shastri. Today's generation will never know them.
