For a while ...
by Shyam Sunder on Jun 29, 2010 09:07 AM  | Hide replies

For a while means till next general elections. Just before the elections the government will announce sops, waivers, subsidies and make people booze for free, distribute freebies. Fools will once again vote in a trance and keep paying for their sins for the next five years.

UPA's hope of inflation moderation
by Dinesh Solanki on Jun 29, 2010 07:43 AM  | Hide replies

Dr singh who is an economist has managed to gift India with unprecendated inflation and was watching sugar prices while Sharad Pawar was burning the rome made of sugar. Congress has history of bswelling deficits, inflation and wasting public money. Pranabda has duty to shield the misdeeds. But for businesses having adjusted hard to recent crisis and contributing more to revenue, Dr Singh's govt might have left us even in worse position.Dr Singh says everytime that he is doing everything for poor but is he really helping poor ? Will it affect credibility of Dr singh himself as Congress is known for fiscal mismanagement ?

They make such statements but they all know the truth. this is international politics , dont be so naive

You are just uttering non-sense and supporting the congress by praising MMS who is only a good economist, not administrator. He does not have any self respect but he is shielding misdeeds of Sonia and company, using his 'clean' image. But there is scope of doubt whether he is really clean. Why should somebody take onus of all misdeeds without getting rights to work. There mst b some deal.

Why do these technophobes think the human element is out with the introduction of video analysis. Have the infrared cameras and video replays taken out the human element in tennis or cricket?

In fact, more people have started walking in cricket (after being out) than ever because they know they would be caught on the big screen lying.

FIFA is hypocritical when it says it does not want to rely on video cameras for any decision-making. Have they forgotten that the referee had NOT EVEN SEEN the Zidane headbutt against Matterazzi in last 2006, until the video cameras finally showed the replays.

It was only then that the referee decided to red card Zidane. So, the video-based decision-making is already there along with the human element.

FIFA is totally in denial, sorry.

Price Rise will sky rocket and will continue to rise
by Raj on Jun 29, 2010 01:41 AM

The Cream of our Economy is falling in the hands of Western Powers where cost of living is too high so our population will continue to suffer for a very long time without end in site. India PM behaves like a puppet than a leader of a free independent Nation which has their own policies.
