first let me say, I have not invented anything in my life, and I admire Mr. Gogoi. But compressed air vehicles have been in europe for 20 years. There are actually commercial taxis that run compressed air in the UK. So its not a original idea or an invention. But hats off to Mr.Gogoi for trying to duplicate the effort here, hope he is able to fructify his idea and is a commercial success. Anything that does not depend on gas or pertol or diesel , is welcome.

Honestly , after reading the entire article, there is no doubt that Mr.Gogoi is a great engineer. I hope his ideas do make money and he can utilized by bigger firms Like Tatas or Bajaj or TVS.

people like Kanak deserve our encouragement and any insensitive comments show a self-indulgent attitude. show us what you can or have done and you too may get credit.

Seems like u r running some kind of business lobby? Ur frustration shows off. Having spent much money in edducation, u cant accept innovations from somebody else? If u dont have basic moral values u r not a socail human being at all, what is the use of ur edducation.

His frustrations are not uncalled for and is on the right side. All Patti had to do was be a little polite. I understand your frustration Patti

Patti does not have to invent nothing, he can shoot his mouth in an annonymous forum, incognito.

I appreciate the inventor for his efforts. But him saying that if went to school he would not have done all these things are not good progressive talk. Secondly we cannot say we are going to become a super power and all we have to show for is this? Come on man? I do appreciate this guys efforts but invention is one thing what he did was the ability to do what is already been done, dont get me wrong its still great but damn it we have 1.2 billion people is that all we can come up with?
If his work is good, the market will embrace it. Otherwise, it will not embrace his works. It is as simple as that.
Having said that, here is my comment. India has this weird notion about how illiterates will save them. This is how they claimed that Ramar Pillai came up with some method to extract petrol from some leaf. His products do not seem like innovations to me. Rather, it appears that he has assembled cars himself (sorta like the rednecks in the US).

Is this how u react to things in your family, I am sure most people hate u and u just enjoy that difference
Kudos to Kanak, for the passion and the desire for innovation. I think Indian Industry stalwarts must recognise his contribution. Mahindra, Hindustan Motors, Tata motors, Premier Automobiles, Force motors must come forward and look at business prepositions. This is the time to bring the wheel of inventions back in India. Nobody can stop us from becoming a real super power.

Why should they? If his product is good, he will carve a niche for himself in the market. As for your superpower comment, please do not get carried away. To be a superpower, you need to have a strong army and a strong economy. As of today, India has neither. It has some sort of space program which is really old Russian technology. Even when they claim it is indigenous, it is really Russian stuff.

You idiot, Kanak's car will find application on Golf Courses for travelling and also in tourist resorts where you can get from point A to point B.
If you have a theme park which is big, then you can have 40 of Kanak's cars to be available on a get-on an drop-off basis.
Instead of running ideas down, think positive.
More the 70% Indians think in a negative manner which is why our country is like this.
