You are 100% right. Also good that you left blanks to be "filled in by readers". Most of our Netas are indeed high school drop outs (sometimes even primary school drop outs or even angutha chaps) & all of them are very successful politicians & hence most corrupt. Otherwise India will not be like what it is today. Each neta wants to earn/make at least few laks of crores & nothing less so that his 1000 generations need not work OR also get into politics & make crores of crores as successful politicians. But such real successful persons never get any encouragement from any of the Netas. All our Presidents & PMs will do is clap when they meet such people, give them a glorious certificate & disappear once for all.

Mr. Umesh, your thinking is so narrow that you don't know the difference between a genius and a jenny ass. You and your netas belong to the latter class.

Commendable job Mr. Kanak
by Mehul Mitra on Jul 14, 2010 10:33 PM

I think we Indians lack the quality of appreciating others work. It is realy commendable the way Gogoi persued his interest. Lets not see this in commercial lines. See that even after keeping a low profile, we are discussing about him. That means we do realise. Talent is something that cannot be hidden like a odour of a flower. Lets appreciate people around you who think out of box and you will see 100s of Kanak all around you.

Shame on our education system
by Bhagat Singh on Jul 14, 2010 10:23 PM  | Hide replies

Our education system do not allow innovation. This is the result that the right person gets out.

We can defeat america, japan, china if we allow inovation to grow up.

Keep it up KANAK

Go Ahead Kanak Gogoi
by Dulal Das on Jul 14, 2010 08:52 PM

Mr. Gogoi has also discovered peeling machine to peel pomegranate, betel-nut, yam etc. The yam being used as staple food in some African countries placed orders to supply the machine to him and was exported.

As a shy gentleman to announce his achievements he always does his work without publicity as one can observe that his achievements have been made limited by himself!

A true and perfect gentleman.

IIMians were advised by “India Today” to be a big fish in Indian market rather than to be a big fish among sharks in USA.

There cannot be a better place then one’s own home.

Does not Mr. Gogoi deserve the highest civilian award? Within a century his works will be taught in educational institutions like any other greatest discoverer.

INDIANS SHOULD NOT INDULGE IN THINGS ..WHICH THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT ... GOD CREATED INDIA ..AS AGRICULTURAL HUB FOR ENTIRE PLANET ...INDIANS MUST FOCUS ON AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION AND INVENTION ...RATHER THAN IN THESE FUTILE THINGS ... EACH ONE HAS ASSIGNED JOB... LET GERMANY , JAPAN , USA TAKE CARE FOR AUTOMOBILES ... DO NOT WASTE TIME WHICH WE ARE NOT GOOD AT ... LETS FOCUS ON AGRICULTURE ..THE VERY TASK ASSIGNED BY GOD TO INDIA ...

Do Not take me wrongly .. my point was really very simple ... each individual and country should do the things ..which they can do best ... India should use all the resources including nets, blogs , for Agricultural development , invention .water harvesting ..as clearly next decade wars will be on food and water only ... India is really created to feed the world this the truth

No one is assigned anything. Then according to you even caste system is based on assignment. Should we still practise it. And dude God doesnt anything to anybody. God only gives opportunities and people who make the best of those opportunities are the ones who are geniuses.
