What a nonsense...!!!

570 mill jobs???

520 mill currently employed!!! Can ny1 make out the logic about the projected jobs ... 570 mill?

That equals to about 50% of our whole population...From whre are they going to bring the 570 mill people to work???

From China or Pakistan???

What a white lie?

These are typical Sarkari Sardar jokes
by Rajan Sodankur on Jul 07, 2010 05:11 AM  | Hide replies

One Sardar in the govt keeps telling and fooling people that all is well (in reality all are in the well now wanting to be saved) even when the whole country is burning on its corners in Kashmir, Mizoram, border with Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and China, and wriggling with pain of maoism and naxalism in its intestines; another Sardar in the Planning keeps selling statistics jugglery making people dream that all is well even amidst rising crime rate, escalating prices, decreasing availability of electricity and water and degrading quality of supposdly free primary health care and education. What a statistical non-sense of linking GDP growth and employment rate withut supporting field data. It is like concluding that drinking more coca cola and pepsi brings more rain by linking the consumption of soft drinks in summer with rain fall in that year. Keep electing idiots as MPs and MLAs who would appoint these well cushioned arm chair idiots in AC rooms as their advisors to make common people suffer this statistical non-sense!

Add to this the fact that this has managed to create huge fiscal deficits and high inflation through he is an Economist and instead of removing poverty has subjected millions of poor people to misery by having to pay unbelievable prices and he talks of monsson but not the free spending he has created by jacking up national debt.

Economic mobility ( to./brr ) != Social mobility ( to./68j )

There are 17,000 castes aka cults ( to./4msn ) in India.
And they hate each other whether we acknowledge it or not.
They're cults because since 1947 only 1% of marriages in India are inter-caste.

We can lobby members of parliament to carve out out an independent nation similar to Gibraltar ( to./4yeh ) for our 10 million community.
And we will be 75th largest nation by population.

I'll pay $8.5 million to members of parliament if they approve a private bill in parliament to carve out an independent nation from India for our community.

570 mn jobs
by KS jolly on Jul 06, 2010 12:13 PM

assumption is 9% annual growth. It depends on many internal and external factors. In india people are not ready to pay the actual cost of production like petrol and cooking gas. Corruption is almost legal. avoid paying taxes by all means, how it will be achived. There is chance of change of govt in the centre in elections in these 5 years. There is no agenda to control the increasing population which is eating all the fruits of progress.I can only offer best wishes to UPA to let their dreame turn into reality

New Jobs
by Ashok on Jul 06, 2010 12:11 PM

Confusion about the new jobs. Is it 57 crores or 5.7 crores ? Also how many exisitng jobs will be lost during the next 5 years ? What will be the net increase in jobs ? This UPA government is expert in making false promises.
