This is a classic case where americans miscalculated the number of H1s required and now they are using dirty tricks to turn away those with genuine visas. Some one else makes a mistakes, someone else pays. This is very humiliating and degrading treatment.

why does it only happen with indians.what does ur filthy country do,produce millions of you and send out to beg in the name of services. Not only in the US ,most of the developed countries have started to shun you guys and expect days of real protectionism in the near future,so y dont u guys stand on ur own and support ur a^s^s^es rather than depending on the west.
Its time for Indian students and employees who are so much attracted towards foreign countries to think if they really are that keen on coming abroad for learning and working after such a situation. are we getting same respect and dignity like any other resident der? everytime they change rules and we are hit in some or the other way.

Aren't we slaves in our own country? In the US Indians are 2nd grade citizens and here in India we are 4th grade citizens with the minorities claiming the first right over the resources and the second right to the babus, politicians (their servants, friends and theirs servants' friends) and the likes, the third right goes to the SCs, STs, BCs, OBCs and then comes the common man.
Do you really get the opportunities you deserve in Our country? Dont you see that we are having to compromise on everything in life? And The Great Chanakya said " Yasmin deshe ........." which means leave that country whcih does not respect you.......... as simple as that.
And you see in spite of all the protectionism we, Indians are better there than in Our own country.
Its very simple, We don't want Bangladeshi's to run our tea stall unless we can't find any Indians to open tea stall next door. US economy is going through bad times and no one would like to see their Jobs taken away. There is no shortage of qualified workers in US at this moment so it is wise to send those with fake resumes back home. When times are good.. welcome back!

You are right. But why did the govt. issue the H1B visa in the first place? Isnt it humiliating that you have been issued a visa based on approved petition and then turned back after 15 hours of non stop flight?

dude,,r U Paki or Tami ?? wat u doin here..spying?? wrong place man,,
I pity the narrow mindedness of the message below. Look at the headlines now - UK stopped visas because of overwhelming number of applicants from north India. Is any south Indian whining about this? Stop complaining like a kid & think wise. Btw, US is a land of equal opportunity & not a land of opportunity for one biased region. If you have talent, you will survive.
