Union budget
by Lakshmanan Kalimedukaliannagoun on Feb 26, 2010 06:57 PM

FM has done the best to help every section of the society, remembering the rural populace as well. One cannot spend without earning.
Fuel price hike is exaggerated. More efficient vehicles, replacing old irrigating water pumps, limited use of the cars, efficient public transport system may help save fuel.Solar lamps are introduced for each house in some countries (an NRI has produced a cheap lamp)the technology be implemented . Solar power can be used in lorries for semirefrigeration farm produce transportation afresh.Where are our engineers and technologists who should be utilised by our industries.
Politicians wasting fuels by going in 100s of cars is an antinational activity which should be banned.

The projects and programmes for the rural development will only help fill up the pockets of the bureaucrats, elected politicians and local dada. Efficiency in implementation, honesty in administration are the basic things which alone can bring about the expected progress.

CBI should be given free hand to deal with the corrupt bureaucrats as well the politicians: Post master-general makes two crors, IAS officer make a little more and the politicians makes manifold while the farmer and the villager suffer without one square meal a day. What poor Finance minister can do without an efficient , honest and people-friendly administrative machinary.
Along with the people-friendly budget we hear 7 Indians were killed in Kabul.May their soul rest in peace.

by pramod kumar on Feb 26, 2010 06:31 PM

pranab mukherji & and congress govt. set up gdp growth next financial year 8 to 9%. india becoming rich country but aam aadmi becoming gradually poor. politician and big tycoons add more fat their bodies sucking blood from poor people. people give the power for congress to suck the blood. on paper and in parlament showing growth and development actually farmers and small scale employees suffering by rocket speed food price and global climate change. who support to congress always like ass. I sugest to people buy some land and cutivate food grains self and sell on open market to other people no to traders. So govt. should to give to the people culvation land by cheap rate.

BUDGET is meaningless when provision for Corruption/Scam/Black money in rotation is not made as this accounts for more than 50% of annual outlay!

Excedingly well done?
by Hebbar R on Feb 26, 2010 05:23 PM

For the PM, who spend for all his needs from the Tax payers money, this is indeed a "Job exceedingly well done". But what about the cost of fuels and its effect on around prices? If the PM feels that there is just a nett revenue gain of just Rs 20000 Crores, why were the changes made. Fresh taxes could have just been raised to that extent rather than all round major changes.

The Congress will never know the plight of the middle and salaries classes. Just look at the incentive given to people withincome bet 3 to 5 Lakhs/yr. Just a BIG ZERO.

For congress definition of aam aadmi is one with income of over Rs 5 lacs per annum.

That's the reason they have taken care of their interest. Voter's pls note.
