Banglore airport does not deserve the 'international' prefix.. It is just a small hall and some roads(they call it runways). I think some reporters should compare the cost spent on all airports in India and the facilities being provided(OUTPUT) by each one. It is an excellent example of misuse of democracy.

then what about cal, delhi, mum and chennai airports ? they are closely ranked to baghdad, kabul etc...
It was wrongly named after a departed politician who did nothing for the Andhra Pradesh State and in fact insulted the then AP state CM T.Anjaiah !! We initially demanded to name it after JRD TATA but power that be went for a deal on collecting fee from travellers issue !!

Wrong! Utter BS! The new airport was supposed to be named after PV, the later PM of India, but as usual the ruling Congress in the state, oh sorry, the servants of Sonia and the Gandhi family decided to name it after their previous master...
