With guys like MM Singh at top India is sure moving towards disaster.India is country with teeming 120 crore popualtion. We hardly have 1/3rd of land USA has.If we follow consumptions of Germany,USA or japan India will become a big gabage dump. Do tehse idiots like Singh and this entrepreur think on these lines? Do they understand what is sustainable development? Do they know about the couplet of famous poet. Stretch your legs as far as your blanket goes. This madness going on in coutry for loot and plunder in name of development and globalsiation only suits corrupt politicians and businessmen and must be halted now.Enough is enough

N.Shankar
by M Thippeswamy on Dec 19, 2010 11:29 AM

South Indian TATA. No doubt SIs are mroe cautious than marwaris/gujarathis. Business is in their blood.More than Mr.Shankar's achievements the system has to be carried on. This is the difference between SI business houses. three generations struggle to create an empire & one generation is sufficent to destroy totally.Marwaris/Gujarathis the children leave every thing including personal life for the sake family business. This is not seen in SI business tycoons. Either their kith & keen destro them including their own children. Who shall maintain & continue to maintain the businees that is to tbe seen. I pray God to give sense to his children.

Look at the way TCS management is functioning.
And even we see around us, Tamilians will rarely recruit non-Tamilians, speak in their code language even in official meetings.

Just look around you for examples.

conservative business groups
by khemaji Bheel on Dec 19, 2010 11:19 AM

Comparing to Gujarati,Marwari and Sindhi business groups, south business groups ( particularly TN based- ) are less risk taking and their growth over a period is very less ( this Group also) because of conservative thinking. However, this is changing now and their business is having national and international presence.

USE OF WORD 'EMPIRE' IS BORN OUT OF SLAVISH MENTALITY
by deleted on Dec 19, 2010 09:08 AM

It is at best a business enterprise whose notional value is about that much which may double or halve or even bust as per business cycle. He is also not the 100% owner due to bank loan etc.

7. if h1ndus trust Modi, it is b/c of his good work, and not b/c of some mandir masjid politics

why is BJP leadership afraid of Modi? why dont they bring him to cenral role ... like be the party chief ... why dont they project him as PM candidate?

there is just too much power struggle and politics within BJP's top leadership
